How to Get There

By Car

From Kuala Lumpur, it takes around 15 minutes to reach Titiwangsa via Damansara road and Sultan Iskandar highway as well as Tun Razak road.besides that, from Kuala Lumpur International airport, there are a few roads to reach Titiwangsa which are by using Kuala Lumpur- Putrajaya highway, ELITE and North-South highway for around an hour.

Titiwangsa Lake Garden

The Titiwangsa Lake Gardens is a recreational park and composed of few huge lakes in the middle of the park. The Titiwangsa Lake Gardens is located just beside the busy Jalan Tun Razak in the heart of Kuala Lumpur and full of joggers as it is a good place to run and train for competitive races in the morning. There are many facilities at the park which includes jogging tracks, aqua biking, canoeing and other outdoor activities. There are two less common facilities also available at the park which is the horse riding facility and the radio control car racing track. There are also food and drinks sold around the edge of the lake for visitors to buy while enjoying the scenic view. Among the famous places near Titiwangsa Lake Gardens are the National Library, Restaurant Nelayan, National Art Gallery, National Theatre (Istana Budaya) and the Sutra Dance Theatre.

National Art Gallery

The National Art Gallery is located along Jalan Temerloh near Titiwangsa area on a 5.67-hectare land. The gallery has a unique architecture which is inspired by the traditional Malay architecture and incorporated with contemporary touch to it makes the gallery one of the most modern art venues in the region. The art gallery creates space and opportunity for development, preservation, experimentation and exploration of various forms of art in Malaysia .Under the initiative of the first Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman, the National Art Gallery was established on 28th August 1958. There are over 2500 pieces of artwork which are permanently housed in the gallery and acts as a hub for the gathering of arts, crafts and cultural items.
