The river is located 10 minutes away from Hulu Selangor town and just 1 hour drive away from Kuala Lumpur. It has become popular river since the white water rafting began at this river. Sungai Selangor is considered a grade IV white water rafting river. Visitors need to understand and aware of white water rafting equipment which are paddles, helmets, PFD (life vest), Self bailing rafts and other rafting equipment for precaution requirement.
