Gurney Paragon Mall is a shopping mall situated in Gurney Drive, Penang. It is a mall combined with two condominiums and an office block. The Gurney Paragon Mall opened to public in 2013 and has been one of the top shopping places in the island of Penang.
The major tenant of the mall is the TGV Cinema, a multiplex that operates on the mall’s top floor. This TGV Cinema has an IMAX-equipped hall, and they are the first in the northern Malaysia. Apart from it, there are more than 200 retail outlets in the nine floors of shopping places, including some international brands.
The drive to the Gurney Paragon Mall from the city centre of Penang, George Town, will take just under five minutes, depending on the traffic that is, as the distance is less than two kilometres.
There are RapidPenang bus that goes to Gurney Drive, which is where the Gurney Paragon Mall is situated. RapidPenang buses are available anywhere and they go everywhere on the state with a cheap fare. Just make sure to get on the correct bus, as each and every single one of them has number that respond to routes that they are taking.
Taxis are abundant on the island and most of them are willing to go anywhere on the island or even parts of Penang that are located on the mainland. However, taxis can be on the expensive side. Make sure to only ride the taxis that are using the meter. If taking taxis from the airport, buy the ticket for the taxi at the stand.

Tanjong Tokong World War II Relics are the remnants of the military installation in Penang. These relics are located at the coast of Tanjong Tokong. Their constructions and installations happen during the World War II era as the coastal defences for the British empire against the Japanese invasion. Post war, these defences were left behind, unused and unmaintained until today. None of them worked any longer as they were not preserve. Today, the place has became a tourist attraction, especially for those who love history and everything about world war. The relics are located at the northern tip of the island, less than two kilometres from Gurney Paragon Mall.
