Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Mahmud or its best known as SMK Mahmud is a national high school located on Jalan Tras about 800 meters from the town centre of Raub town. SMK Mahmud is one of the oldest and largest schools in the Raub district. SMK Mahmud was built in 1908. The school was also known as Private English School, Anglo Chinese School, Government English School and now is known as SMK Mahmud.

SMK Mahmud's name was founded in conjunction with the late Sultan of DYMM Sultan Mahmud Ibni Almarhum Sultan Ahmad, the second Sultan of Pahang (1914-1918). The school is located in a strategic location which is nearby famous tourist destinations such as Raub Lake Park, Raub Durian Orchard, Jeram Besu and many more.

From KLIA airport you can use either the ERL (Express Rail Link), coach, taxi or shuttle bus, get down at the KL Sentral.
