Built in 1978, Lembang Bujang is home to an archaeological museum consists of collections of evidence of the existence of a civilisation in the area from the 3rd to the 14th centuries. The architectural remains and cultural artefacts show that a Hindu-Buddhist civilisation existed here until the early 1100's. This museum was officially opened on 23 January 1980 by His Majesty Al-Sultan Almu'tasimu Muhibbuddin Tuanku Alhaj Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah, Sultan of Kedah Darul Aman and it is built to carry out archaeological research and excavation works and showcase historical or historical artefacts before Islam and influence of Hinduism and Buddhism. There are various artefacts displayed inside the museum including pottery, stone caskets, tablets, metal tools, ornaments, ceramics, statues, jewellery and iron nails. The admission is free and open daily from 9 am to 5 pm.
Tupah Recreational Forest is a protected forest area in the Kuala Muda District in Kedah and located at an elevation of between 100-200 meters above sea level. It is located along a 2 kilometres stretch of the river and is popular especially among locals who come here to picnic and bathe. There is wide range of plant species can be found in this forest such as Meranti Sarang Punai, Meranti Tembaga, Keruing and others.
