There are two types of mode of transportation to reach Langkawi. You may either opt for a plane or boat. Airlines offering flights to and from Langkawi are Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, Firefly, Malindo Air, Silk Air and TigerAir and the airport is located at Padang Matsirat. The boats are operated by Langkawi Ferry. Ticket prices varied starting from RM18 (departing from Kuala Kedah) to RM60 (departing from Penang).
