XO Hotels Couture

We enjoyed our stay at XO Couture. The location was convenient to the city center, which was easily accessible by tram (right outside the hotel), taxi or Uber. It was also conveniently located to the airport. They have check-in/out kiosks which made it quick and easy. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We had an issue with beeping coming from a technology room across from our room that lasted our entire weekend stay. The staff was unable to stop the beeping and told us it couldn’t be fixed until the weekday. The hotel was full and our room couldn’t be changed so we listened to beeping all night long for two nights. Other than this inconvenience, I would stay here again.

Nice modern quiet room. Didn’t spend much time in it as had quite a packed itinerary. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good transportation links to both airport and city centre. Do not if there were any shops nearby though

Great location, tram stop few steps away and metro train station 5-8 mins walk. Staff were very helpful, polite and accommodating since we have to leave our luggages for few hours. Good selection for breakfast. The only thing we can fault was the pillows… quite uncomfortable

Lengthy check in process. The self check in screen didn’t recognise my third party booking through Expedia so a lot of back and forth with the hotel staff trying to manually input things themselves. For something that was meant to be very simple it took ages to get sorted. One of the staff was quite abrupt and not very welcoming. Not the best experience when entering the hotel! On the plus side the room was modern, and the transport links to the centre of Amsterdam was great.

Great locations with tram stop outside of the hotel. Rooms are clean and of a good size. Breakfast has a good selection of hot and cold items.

Our room has stains on the ceiling and walls that could have been cleaned better.

This hotel has a fantastic location, out of the fray of downtown, with easy tram access right outside the hotel. With Centraal Station only about a 30 minute tram ride away, it is a great location for site seeing, museums, Vondelpark and tours at a reasonable price point. The staff were all kind and very helpful,

This Hotel is situated a little outside the main attractions of Amsterdam. It's in a much more quiet area, however because of this, there aren't many shops or restaurants nearby. Which is fine as you can just hop on a tram right outside and it will take around 20 mins to reach the centre or around 15 for the museum quarter.The hotel is quite dark, the room was very comfortable and clean, apart from having dust all over the coffee area. The coffee machine was broken and there were no instructions on how to use it, so we missed our morning coffee in bed. The staff are very nice, friendly and helpful, but everything is self service. Checking in and out is done by you, they are just there if you get stuck. Which I didn't mind at all. The buffet breakfast was ok, more like a 3 star breakfast than a 4 star though and not worth the 20 euro price, I'd go into town for breakfast, you have more options and it's probably cheaper. Overall a great hotel if you want to be a small distance from the busy centre and you prefer self service. The price is very decent for Amsterdam and I would recommend for anyone who wants a more quiet area and doesn't mind a tram ride. Which was actually nice and scenic in parts.

Farther from downtown but very accessible via the tram system. Very quiet and clean hotel.

Have one set of staff doing evening/ after 5pm clean ups. We could not have our room cleaned bc it was either 9 am or never, in our 4 day stay/ I’ve never been a place they don’t offer cleaning later

We recently stayed in Room 720 and wanted to provide some feedback regarding our experience. Unfortunately, there was a noticeable draft coming from the window area because it was taped up as it was broken, which caused the room to feel quite cold, even with the heating on. This made it difficult to keep the room at a comfortable temperature during our stay. Additionally, one of the cups provided in the room had a leak in it. We did not request a room change at the time, as you had kindly arranged for us to be on the same floor as the other half of our party, and moving would have caused inconvenience. However, we felt it was important to bring these issues to your attention as they may cause discomfort for future guests. We appreciate your attention to this matter and hope this feedback is helpful.
