The room was very clean and comfortable but I would have liked a better view. I booked specifically for the rooftop pool, which was not very well maintained and I was disappointed that the hot tubs were no longer there. Also, there were very few gluten-free breakfast options.

Front desk questions you at breakfast for proof of stay or be escorted out. Loud 6th floor bar kept children up . Dont stay on 5th floor.

The hotel was great but I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone with limited walking ability and reduced comfort in a downtown district Pros - room was huge, very clean, very good air conditioning. Breakfast was included and high quality. Great service. Cons - there is a rooftop terrace that becomes a bar at night so even on a Sunday evening there were a lot of non-guests around the hotel. Very quiet though. The area is just outside of the main tourist district, one block from a homeless shelter. Some guests may not feel comfortable walking in this area especially at night.

The Hampton Inn is worth it - the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Parking is reasonable priced and really convenient. The rooms are really clean - so clean I decided to have a bath! my only gripe is the bath plug makes a incessant sound when the tub is full. The Hampton is great for your pet and there's places right around the corner to take your dog (and a highway nearby for your cat haha 🙀) I will go back if I can.

Room was alright. Not much of a view. Bathroom had mold along the edges of the tub. Door did not close or lock. Room TV does not allow you to screen cast. Only basic TV options. Can't use Netflix etc. If you go here, bring a screen cast USB and plug it into the TV. This way you can use your phone or laptop to cast to the TV all your Netflix, etc shows without actually connecting your account to the hotel TV. Then when checking out, just take the USB with you.

Pet friendly, wish they had more things available for the pets! We pay so much to have them over.

Reservation was quick and easy. I needed to stay for the night last minute and I could get one there

The location was excellent, close to Metro station as well as within walking distance to many attractions in Old Montreal, Complex Desjardins, etc. The room and property were clean, the breakfast was very good and the staff were professional, polite and helpful. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this property.

Check in was good and room was great until we went out for a while and came back to a horrendous smell. Called to front desk and they had someone come and check and agreed there was a bad odour. Option to switch room was presented and we took it only to discover same smell different room, another room another smell also had the supervisor come with me so he could smell room he said his nose isn't so good *his words* and when I asked for a room with a window that could be opened he said there were none available. I was in town for an event that was starting soon and I had to deal with all this and told I could leave the hotel but I couldn't I didn't have anything else booked. Their explanation of the smell was the cleaner they use so this would not be eco friendly because it was overpowering. We ended up staying there but I was concerned over night and they did put a fan in the room but I think you become accustom to the smell and the interaction with the night supervisor was terrible, he was not very professional IMO. The next morning I tried to take it up with the manager but he was unavailable so I spoke with day supervisor he was better but nonetheless the whole experience was exceptionally disappointing and the room was a horrible smell especially for an asthmatic.

Our room was dirty. We asked someone to come re make the bed since it clearly wasn’t clean and they just dropped off sheets. I aske; them to come back to make the bed and they never showed up. Floor in our room was sticky. So gross.

the hotel is in Chinatown, and walking distance to the attractions in Montreal. It is very convenient.

I will start with the staff. Staff were friendly, helpful and always available. The room was modern and clean. Having a fridge, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, utensils, etc was an added bonus. Honestly I would stay again.
