Hampton Inn by Hilton Montreal Downtown

This has been an extremely unacceptable and distressing accommodation experience. I made a reservation for a 7-night stay, yet on the morning of the second day I was forced to check out and cancel the entire booking. To date, I have still not received any refund for the unused nights. This level of service and handling is completely unacceptable, and I have never encountered such an unprofessional situation before. I request that you process my full refund immediately and provide an explanation for this disruption.

Very clean and quiet environment. Service offered is acceptable!

Perfect location and convenience. The AC in the room seems to old, the noise from the AC might keep you awake at night. The rest are all fine. The service and the connection to all attractions could be one of the best in town

Hotel is next to a bar where there are alot of non hotel guests in the lobby. House keeping forget to put towels in our room.

Breakfast was wonderful, room clean and newer. The only issue was the temperature, the thermostat didn’t work properly and it was either too warm or too cold, to the point of waking us up. Location was perfect for us as we did old Montreal and theatre district.

Staff were incredibly friendly. Everything ran very smoothly at this hotel. Even the elevators are super fast.

Hotel location with parking and breakfast was excellent. The room cleaner was ok. Definitely not sweeping long hair on floor in bathroom each day and had to call front desk each day to ask for towels ( 1 per person in room not given ) sometimes came and sometimes did not.

Breakfast is very good. There are a lot of things to choose from. There is a water dispenser for filling water bottles in the lobby, which is nice. And there’s a good restaurant and bar on the ground floor. Hotel is in a good location. It’s in Chinatown, so there are plenty of food options nearby, but it’s also close to Old Montréal and all the restaurants and bars there. It’s also fairly close to the Metro, and the bus to the airport is just two blocks away.

The breakfast buffet was quite extensive and there was plaemty to eat; there was however times when it was very crowded and hard to find a seat. The staff was very helpful and responded quickly to any inquires. The only issue that we has was that our room wasn't cleaned one of the days. I was told it was because the do not disturb sign was on the door until 10:00 am. I didn't think that would be an issue since there were 2 housekeeping staff in our hallway when we revoed the sign. We were abletp get some towels later that evening when we returned and someone emptied the trash. This is the only reason why I gave it 4 stars.

The room was clean, the staff was kind and the breakfast was good
