I enjoyed the stay just wish it was a bit more modern in the sense that we couldn’t really use the tv due to it being so old it only had certain channels, couldn’t play music or watch shows that was enjoyable, we also walked in with a knife on the kitchen counter top which threw us off but again other than that everything else was okay

The hotel location and staff were great! However, renovations were ongoing on the floor above our room as we could hear loud construction noises during the day. But we were mostly out during the day so that was not a big issue for us.

The pictures and description were widely misleading. It claimed to be "luxury", but it was far from it. It looked like a university shared housing unit. Sparsely and cheaply furnished, paint chipping off the walls, the bathroom has never seen a renovation. It was clean but showed little effort. Mostly, it was the dishonesty of the posting that caused such disappointment. And the cost did not reflect the experience. I would not recommend.

They need to change their lighting to a softer white as i felt like i was in an office, not a hotel room. The bed also felt a little old but otherwise a good spot!

The room was clean enough but certainly not to the degree of other hotels. The sides of the stove were caked with dust and years of grease/food (clearly it’s not pulled out when the room is cleaned). The common areas weren’t particularly clean either, probably emphasized by the dated carpets. The room was dated and although there have clearly been efforts to improve the space, the quality of the improvements are quite poor (for example, a thick textured wallpaper in the bathroom that is peeling at the edges, looks quite dingy; the toilet paper holder wasn’t secured to the wall). A few of the light switches didn’t work, along with the main living room lamp, leaving the space feeling pretty dark. Despite all this, the staff were very kind and accommodating, which was really the redeeming factor, along with the location and accessibility to the subway.

We paid WAY too much ($1400 for two nights) to stay in this place because the PDAC mining tradeshow was going on… we had NO idea. For that reason I give it a lower rating. No complimentary bottles of water.. had to buy them at the convenience store across the street. Place was dated. Pictures crooked, paint splatters on floor from poor paint job just very poor attention to detail in the room itself. Staff were nice at least.
