Major staffing issue in kitchen and hospitality - we waited 40 mins for a sharer and starter on Saturday night, then it all came together. Another table of 6 waited 1 hr 40 mins for one salad to arrive! Salmon dish was tiny and overcooked. Sent it back. The waiter Omar was brilliant at service recovery and very apologetic - hats off to him. Breakfast was pretty poor too - only one coffee machine for hundreds of guests, food took ages to be replenished and tables not cleared. Staff on reception not so helpful - on arrival on Saturday afternoon after a very long journey I was advised the pool would be open until 8.45pm, to then go to the spa at 7pm to find it was closed on weekends at 6.45pm - very annoying! Specifically booked the hotel for use of the pool. When I did use it the facilities were dated, pool smaller than photos suggest and an aqua class was going on one morning! Best part was the room - nice size room, nice furnishings, good bed and a fridge. This is why I haven’t given it a ‘terrible’ rating. Mostly clean but dust on lamps and headboard. Good easy parking. Overall a 90’s tired hotel needing some updating with major service issues.

We booked our stay almost a year ago and were pleasantly surprised! As a wheelchair user in an accessible room, I found the facilities fantastic. Check-in was smooth; the desk is high, but staff thoughtfully provided a clipboard to sign paperwork. Our ground-floor room (Room 18) was clean and spacious enough to park and charge my wheelchair overnight while still moving comfortably. The bathroom featured a roll-in shower with a seat, a red pull cord, and a left-side drop-down transfer rail by the toilet. Note: the bed is standard hotel height with no pull cord or bedside sockets (ample sockets exist opposite the bed, which was fine for us). They also provide a vibrating under-pillow emergency alarm. Spa access was great. I rode to the changing room—which has a fully accessible roll-in shower/seat and toilet with rails—and used my walking stick to reach the pool. However, please note there are no transfer aids or hoists for the pool or hot tub. The food was fantastic! Any minor issues were rectified quickly, professionally, and apologetically. The staff were incredibly attentive and considerate throughout our visit. We had a truly wonderful stay and will definitely be returning next year!

As soon as we arrived we were greeted nicely and given the information needed and were checked in. The room was fantastic, large, clean and really well equipped, the bed was huge and very comfortable, we had a nice view and the bathroom was clean and roomy. The spa was lovely and we had a lovely relax in there . We had a nice couple of drinks in the bar and watched the football. The breakfast in the morning was really nice with plenty of choice. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely revisit.

Rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast was ok and no changes in breakfast menu next day as well. They keep same food items. Men’s changing room near pool was stinking with foul smell. Sauna size is too small as compared to hotel size.
