Excellent stay, lovely room and hotel

I had specifically booked a king-size bed, but the room had two single mattresses joined together. Upon enquiring, I was told that the hotel does not offer king-size mattresses, which makes the room description misleading. Furthermore, the TV casting facility was not working.

Room and bedding clean and adequate. The spa and pool area were very good. The restaurant had lovely staff helpful and polite. The food and coffee machine could have been a bit hotter.

Loved this place. Just was a bit shocked about the additional Pet charge aa I thought it was included. Apart from that it was great

Haven’t had breakfast yet but check in was not smooth The receptionist was lovely but the manager not so The room didn’t have the extra bed in we sat in bar having a coffee and was told manager was going to come talk to us but this didn’t happen Asked at reception and was told to go to room where manager was waiting then we had to move room although there was now an extra bed in the original room When we asked we were told another guest wanted this room with this configuration of beds which as it turns out was the same as the new room The receptionist I saw when we first arrived was very helpful it’s just the manager who wasn’t

Execellent place to go relax and take in the beautiful Cotwolds. This hotel is just perfect for a weekend break or longer. The rooms are modern, clean with all amenities you would expect from a top hotel. Breafast was amazing and the amazing staff prepared eggs for breakfast as we like. Its located so close to great day vists and if nothingbelse just in the hotel and enjoy the pool and spa and relax at the bar. We'll definitely be back soon..a great big.thank you everyone at the hotel for making our stay PERFECT !

Have stayed multiple times before but on this occassion the music was loud until 1am (we were not pre warned of this) and the plumbing caused a very annoying vibrating hum for most of the night that resulted in only 4 hours sleep on a night away that was supposed to help us relax and to prepare us for xmas.

Overall a nice hotel - staff very friendly and obliging

The pool & wellness suite was out of action which was very disappointing as it was the sole reason I stayed at Chase rather than central Cheltenham. But the room was clean & comfortable, and breakfast was good

DREADFUL STAY FROM START TO FINISH. I WILL NEVER EVER STAY THERE AGAIN.DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE/ AWFUL FOOD/ UNBEARABLE FREEZING SWIMMING POOL/ DREADFULLY HARD UNCOMFORTABLE BEDS / DOUBLE ROOM HOLDING CHARGES APPLIED TO CREDIT CARD & SO IT GOES ON. A FORMAL COMPLAINT HAS BEEN MADE BUT AS YET NOBODY HAS BOTHERED TO PROPERLY SPEAK TO MYSELF FROM THE HOTEL IN QUESTION !!! ,WHICH IM AFRAID THEREFORE SPEAKS VOLUMES !!.

Yes all was as we expected very good.

My fiancé and I spent 2 nights at Cheltenham Chase last weekend. Having read a few mixed reviews I was a little hesitant to book but went ahead and prepared for an underwhelming experience. However my fiancé and I were very pleasantly surprised and honestly our experience significantly exceeded our expectations on a number of levels. The room was a good size, king or super king size bed and comfortable mattress. Clean and basically well equipped. A lovely countryside view whee ref. Looking above the car park. We had 2 evening meals and 2 breakfasts. All delicious and hot. The spa area was clean and not crowded at any point. At times a little busier than others but some very quiet periods. Absolutely loved the pool temperature, and use of the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. All great temperatures for me. Shower facilities all good. We paid a very reasonable price, a little reduced via a hotel app. Lots of friendly and helpful staff. The only obvious improvements we would have asked for would have been automatic provision of robes, more information in the room regarding meal options and other info about available services and facilities etc and more info offered at the desk as we arrived. Overall a great stay and I’m hoping to set up a membership to be able to use the spa facilities regularly which I found incredibly relaxing 👍

Room in good condition and regularly serviced. However heating was not working for first day of stay. Staff provided a heater for our room, but the restaurant was also unbearably cold, so much so our first breakfast there was a misery, and we were relieved to leave the room. Quality and variety of food at breakfast was not what we were accustomed to in a 4 star hotel.
