Breakfast selection was good but our group could not sit together, there were only 6 of us, as the staff were trying to close down a section of the restaurant for cleaning. We ended up on 3 separate tables, not very customer centric.

The staff were great! Check in was terrible due to the whole of Leonardo Hotels computer system being out. Finally got a room, not the type I ordered at 00.30. No one’s fault but did mar our trip.

Horrendous queue to check in taking over an hour… horrendous queue in the evening for the bar.. minimal staff around.. room had not enough cups towels glasses and bottles of water for us and as we were in the room getting ready another couple entered our room and had also been allocated it !

What a terrible experience. My husband and I arrived at 3.20 to check in as we had dinner reservations with friends we had not seen for many years at 5pm. Upon arrival the queue to check in was over 100 x people. The queue was snaking all round the lobby and up past the lifts and around. It was chaos. At no point did we see a member of staff. We were told by other queue members that they had been there hours and that all systems were down and everything had to be done manually. My husband and I made decision to book another hotel elsewhere so we could quickly change and get to our reservation. We have been trying to obtain a refund and cancellation through hotels but so far entirely unsuccessfully. This is unacceptable. I have videos of the queue and again 2 hours later where the queue remains unchanged.

I booked two rooms and, while we were placed next to each other as requested, one of our rooms had an adjoining door to the room on the other side. Unfortunately, we could hear the guests next door talking clearly, as if they were sitting on the bed with us !! The room was right next to the lift, which was busy throughout the night.
