i have used this hotel many times, fantastic value for money and in the perfect location, it never disappoints, reception always very polite and helpful,,there was a rock concert nearby and the hotel was full to the brim of costumed Ghost fans and Ghouls,,,quite scary but extremely well behaved and pleasant

We always stay at this hotel when attending a show in the area. The location is brilliant and rooms are exceptional. On this occasion we needed to wait 15 minutes for our room to be ready (which was fine as we arrived a little before 3pm) Decided to have a drink at the bar, which wasn't the best experience! I must just say that there was no one else at the bar...... But barmaid was young and very unhelpful, clearly didn't want to be there.

Great location- we stayed as we were watching a show at the Birmingham Rep which was just down the road. Lively central location with plenty of eateries. Hotel is of a great standard too. Very comfortable and well priced. Perfect for a one night lay over.

It was a great place. My only issue is the parking. Is too expensive. Can’t imagine had to pay 18 pounds for just a night, meanwhile nearby parking was far cheaper. Aside that, it was a great place

Great location. Good value for a Birmingham city centre hotel. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Car park on site. Cost around £18 for 24 hrs. Spaces are extremely tight though - built before cars got so big !! Have stayed several times and will def be back !

Check in was little hectic due to a concert nearby. Room was very good. Breakfast was ok

Fabulous spacious welcoming room. Refreshment availability excellent. Clean rooms The only downside was the noise of the elevators all the time.

Hotel was good disappointing tried to cont

Our stay was good. Lovely hotel, lovely service from the staff. Check in was chaos due to a concert everyone was attending so definitely check in online when you’re given the option, I wish we had. Room was a little tatty, the bathroom door had severe water damage & the sink plug didn’t work, so the sink wouldn’t hold water so I had to keep the tap running which I think wastes water just for the sake of replacing a plug. The shower was fantastic, overhead & great pressure. Room was clean though and coffee well stocked.

Amazing hotel in a great location. Close to lots of restaurants, bars and shops. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooms are a dream as are the beds!

Biggest issue was with family long waiting for lifts

The staff at this hotel were unbelievably rude. I’ve stayed in thousands of hotels for both work and leisure, and I’ve never experienced anything like this. I booked a room with two double beds for three of us. A fourth person (a family member) decided to join later. Based on reviews online, others had stayed as a group of four in similar rooms, so I assumed it would be fine. We all checked in together and were never told there would be an issue. Later that evening around midnight, we returned and were stopped by security, who demanded our room number and sent us to reception, refusing to let us upstairs. Reception then claimed the room wasn’t suitable for four. I explained the situation, including that we had already checked in, taken our things to the room, and there were two beds. The manager (I think) an older gentleman—spoke to us with the worst attitude I’ve ever encountered, literally saying, “not my problem” and walking off. We were left stranded in reception as the older man walked off, four young women at midnight in Birmingham. Eventually, another staff member said we could stay in the room if we paid £30 on the spot. We had no choice, but why did we need to pay more for the same room? It felt like a scam. To make matters worse, bar staff were seen laughing and joking about a woman completely unconscious passed out in the lobby awaiting paramedics. Completely unacceptable behavior - I would never stay here again purely based on the vile attitude of the staff.

Amazing room very clean nice staff and a really comfy bed

The hotel is lovely and has a luxurious feel - room was great - check in was easy and they accommodated us arriving early. Check out was super easy with the ‘drop off’ box. What let our stay down was breakfast - it was very chaotic and disorganised. We had to ask several times for cutlery, there were long queues for food (people waiting for omelettes made it hard to get other food items), there was a shortage of bowls/plates, and one of the coffee machines was broken - I gave up on coffee as there were no clean mugs when I got to the head of the queue. People on table next to us were very unhappy, as they went to get food and waiters cleared several other tables and put all the dirty cups and plates on their table! It was a shambles, and spoilt what was otherwise a lovely stay.

Friday night stay, great location with on-site parking (18.50 for 24hr). Superior king had plenty of space, amenities & smart tv with chromecast. Complimentary bottled water. Hotel seems overwhelmed with the number of guests. Lifts are a major issue, SUPER slow causing ques and stopping at multiple floors, took +5mins to reach out floor each time. Breakfast was underwhelming, no plates on many stations, things running out, 10min wait for omelettes & generally poor selection of cold items & not many non-pork meat options either.

Staff extremely helpful. Loved the touches like water with lemon/orange available in reception area. Delicious breakfasts, so much choice. Rooms were lovely. Great location too.

Excellent long weekend stay. Myself and two daughter, we couldn’t have asked for a nicer room.

Great central location and the fact it has a car park is even better. Yes the car park might be chargeable but it’s still a great option given its location. Bar is well stocked and not a bad price for a hotel. Rooms are a good size, comfy bed and all round the staff were spot on.
