Wonderfull hotel will stay again

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel whilst attending an event at The Utilita Arena. Staff were friendly and our room was clean and comfortable and looked like it had been recently refurbished.

The bedroom was very clean, as was the bathroom. The dining room had very sticky tables not enough staff to clear and reset tables, also the hot drinks machines were not working, no member of staff available to help. The breakfast food was very good. Car park difficult to get into and was very wet on second floor.

Second visit in the space of two weeks - another very good experience. Emma on reception check in was great - she afforded me a room upgrade per my Expedia VIP booking - this doesn't happen very often. Staff are friendly and the room is well appointed. A consistent approach which was well received.

Good location although a bit of street noise until early hours. Lifts can be frustrating. Rooms big and ideal for 3/4 adults

Starting to look a little tatty around the edges and better attention to the cleaning we also found the the cooler was not working in the room

Excellent breakfast with wide choice and an omelette station. Nice clean spacious rooms. Excellent gym facilities. Convenient location. Overall, very good value for money and would stay again.

We stayed here for one night to attend a concert at the Aviva Arena. Online check in and check out was very convenient and easy. The room was lovely; clean, comfortable with everything we needed for a short stay. Staff at Guest Relations, Reception and in the Bar were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Great hotel in a great location. Two small issues; the TV wasn't working and there wasn't any decaf tea....which is standard these days.

O quarto estava muito bom, mas não tinha secador no banheiro. Andares mais altos são melhores porque a vida noturna nas ruas em volta é bem barulhenta. Eu diria que quem ficar até o 6° andar poderá ter problema com o barulho. As atendentes na recepção foram bem solícitas e cordiais. O café da manhã é bem variado (do jeito inglês), mas a limpeza nas mesas podia ser melhor, mas acho que alguns hóspedes não colaboram. Um elevador apresentou problema, travando entre andares. As pessoas tiveram que forçar as portas e literalmente "pular" pra fora. O hotel é muito bem localizado, perto do centro da cidade.

Great stay at the Royal Leonardo hotel in Birmingham. Great room, booked an executive room which was worth the little bit extra. Quiet,clean and friendly staff on checking in. The location is excellent near to Brindly Place for good restaurants, within walking distance to Bullring and central areas(New street train station) Hotel has its own car park, but can be busy if you arrive later in the afternoon/evening.

Everything good

A very good experience which started with check in conducted by Mina - a very welcoming approach and the pleasant surprise of an upgraded room via the VIP status. I arrived late due to train delays and asked what time the bar was open until - was told midnight, so went to my room to unpack etc. Received a courtesy call in my room to invite me down to the bar as a decision was made to close it at 11.00 pm as it was empty. The drink was afforded on the house - a nice, unexpected touch on their part. Room was well appointed and bedding was very comfortable. I have since booked the same hotel for my business trips to Birmingham.

Lovely welcome to the hotel, donuts and ice cold drinks were much needed after a long hot journey. Check-in was great, had a lovely lady run us through it. Rooms were immaculately clean. Coffee was exceptional and great for the next morning after a late night. The White Company toiletries were such a nice touch in the bathroom, I can still smell it now I’m home and think I might have to indulge 😂. Thanks team Leonardo Birmingham

Woke up in the morning and at 11:02, as we were leaving the room had housekeeping ignoring me and then swearing at my face

Friendly staff, clean spacious rooms. My room had a few issues, loose toilet seat and a rotting bathroom door but other than that had a pleasant stay.

Centrally located. Nice modern hotel. Friendly staff

Staff were great. Helped me out with Dad.
