The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I checked in with a twin-bed room the first time, but was immediately moved to a single-bed room the next day and helped move my luggage since I was out of the hotel. The breakfast was comprehensive and delicious, definitely worth trying, and the price was very reasonable for the experience and quality.

The rooms are spacious, clean, well-maintained, and very close to culinary attractions. You can easily walk out of the hotel, no need to get out of your car. I tried the angkringan (a food stall) and it was quite tasty, but the staff seemed unprepared, with frequent miscommunications between the waitress, chef, and cashier. Perhaps this should be improved next time. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and I'd definitely do it again.

This isn't my first time staying here, although it's been a long time. This time with my family because of its strategic location close to Surabaya's culinary delights, Darmo CFD, etc. Note to hotel management, improve the toilet details: the toilet spray hanger often comes loose... The rest is still quite good although some of the plywood floors in the room are starting to peel. Keep going Grand Darmo Hotel 😍😍

Valet parking. If you're lucky, you'll park in the hotel area. If it's full, you'll park at Transmart Ngagel, which can be a bit of a wait. Otherwise, everything is fine.
