The hotel was very comfortable, with spacious rooms, a microwave, and a chiller, making it perfect for a Saturday night stay. There's live music in front of the hotel, reportedly every Saturday and Sunday night. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Surabaya.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I checked in with a twin-bed room the first time, but was immediately moved to a single-bed room the next day and helped move my luggage since I was out of the hotel. The breakfast was comprehensive and delicious, definitely worth trying, and the price was very reasonable for the experience and quality.

Much better than my previous staycation here. Hot water runs smoothly, the AC is cold, and the room is clean. But it's a shame the gym isn't very spacious. 🥲 I like GDS because the rooms are spacious and have a microwave. The twin beds are huge, and the pillows are also big. There's a pretty spacious children's playground near the pool. Oh yeah, when I requested a high floor, they gave me one, even though it wasn't that high. Thank you, great job! :)

Early check-in costs Rp150,000, and can be checked in starting at 9:00 AM. There's no iron in the room, and when I called the front desk, they said it wasn't available yet. There's no hair dryer (I had to call twice before it was delivered to my room because another guest was using it. Why only have one hair dryer?). Strategic location, with plenty of restaurants nearby. There are no slippers in the room, even though the floor isn't carpeted.

The hotel was overall good, the room was clean, comfortable, and the location was good. However, I was a little disappointed because I had requested a single bed from the start, but upon check-in I was given twin beds. Luckily, it was still usable, but hopefully, guest requests will be more considered in the future. Other than that, it was okay, and the staff was friendly. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
