The room is spacious, quiet, the bathroom doesn't stagnate, the hot water runs smoothly, and the overall room is clean and soundproof. The lobby is clean, with two elevators and complete facilities. I was even able to check in early before 1:30 PM. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially regarding airport transfers before 6 AM (a flat fee of 200,000 Rupiah paid at reception). On the plus side, I needed sanitary napkins at 10:30 PM and Indomaret was already closed. The staff was very helpful in finding them and they were available in less than 5 minutes.

It's a really nice hotel, comfortable, clean, with a swimming pool and a playground for kids. It's the best hotel in Berau. It's a great place to stay for a vacation. The food is delicious, and the place is luxurious.

This was our second stay after returning from Derawan. Overall, the room was comfortable and clean. The only problem was the bathroom door. When closed from the outside, it always opened, so we had to wedge it to prevent it from opening again.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay at Mercure Berau, the room was comfortable, but in the morning I smelled smoke coming from the central AC, and during breakfast, there was a melon that was no longer fresh and was starting to rot, but when we informed the staff, the batch of fruit was immediately replaced.

The hotel is in a good location, in the city center. Good, friendly, and comfortable service. Complete facilities, including a gym and a pool. The breakfast was varied and delicious, thank God. The downside for me in room 506 was that the toilet in the shower area had stagnant water when showering, because the floor slope was not good enough. It needs to be repaired. It's dangerous because the water can't be seen and you might slip suddenly. The granite is too slippery, especially if there's soapy water, which makes it even more slippery. That's all in my opinion. Apart from that, I'm very satisfied with the service, facilities, and the room, only the shower area is the only concern I have, hopefully it will be input for Mercure management. Thank you.
