I stayed at this hotel for two nights and, unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing due to constant noise and lack of comfort. Housekeeping on our floor early in the morning was excessively loud, with continuous rattling of glass bottles outside our room and staff talking very loudly. Throughout the night, there were repeated loud door slams on the floor, random door clicking noises, and the air conditioning made intermittent loud sounds that disrupted sleep. Between approximately 6–7am, there was also a loud noise that sounded like water draining, which was particularly disturbing. The room offered no real sense of relaxation. Despite the TV volume being capped at 40, it was barely audible due to the surrounding noise. As a result, we had very little sleep over the two nights we stayed. The mattress was also extremely firm, adding to the discomfort. Because we were so exhausted from the noise, we were unable to make use of the breakfast we had paid for, as we needed the time to try to sleep instead. Overall, this was the noisiest hotel we have ever stayed in, and the level of noise was completely unnecessary and unacceptable. Sadly, this stay fell far below expectations, and I would not choose to return.

It was so lovely to walk into the room with all the lights on made it even more cosier as wouldn't have done myself. Staff knows me by name feel like part of the Royal Family Welcome. Love it here the views from my window the room. showers etc fantastic. I will keep on going back.

All boxes ticked five star ( apart from to tv remote control which is an absolute mare to understand, still hadn’t figured out how to change the volume by the time I left, that gets a one star. Thanks for a wonderful stay will definitely be back and recommend

The hotel its beautiful and big. Staff at the main bar reastaurant are not. No personalities ' young inexperienced. Really upset me and my husband . 1st ordered baileys coffee & cream' they came & told us after 5mins no cream in whole hotel' then orderd americano' came down cold 'sent it back 2nd one was fine' kids food came down cold' our starter was a joke chilli prawn' we then cancelled our own food. Was so frustrating ' then while one of my sons was still eating and my husband was finishing his pint they came down & asked for payment . That was the last straw for me. I explained it to young girl that was sent down to us who does that ' her supervisor send her down. I went up to her supervisor & said it to her. Why would you come down for payment when we were not finished' she couldnt answer. To me it felt like she taught we were not going to pay little did she know we were staying in the hotel. I was so upset. I brought it to hotel management they were nice. They were looking at receipt to see if money was taking off the bill. As we said it had nothing to do with the bill it was how we were treated. How does a chef not get the food out hot. We had to leave and go else where for dinner. This is at 8 in eve out in the freezing cold kids hungry and us.The next morning the manager came over & said we would get our breakfast for 18p and kids free to make up for night before. Breakfast was lovely fresh Made omelettes infront of us and kids pancakes. Rooms were lovely.

Absolutely fabulous hotel in a central location. We were offered and paid for an upgrade on arrival, which allowed us to access the executive lounge, which meant we had free hot and soft drinks and snacks for the whole stay. We used this extensively. The room was very quiet, even though we were next to the central station and the lift. The room was very comfortable and cosy. The hotel was spotlessly clean and staff were charming and very helpful. They were all also extremely industrious. No one was ever idle, nothing was left undone, and they worked constantly and seamlessly, e.g. at breakfast everything was tidied and cleaned straight away, everything replenished, at the front desk, staff were ensuring they had everything to hand and the public areas were spotless, etc. It was a seamless operation. I felt that everyone genuinely cared about what they did and this enhanced the customer experience. Breakfast was varied and good. The guy on the desk at breakfast was a delight. This was a great stay, made exceptional by the staff. Highly recommended - I certainly will be back.
