I recently stayed at Village Hotel Bugis and was genuinely impressed by the overall experience. The property offers an excellent combination of comfort, convenience, and value—making it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel’s location is one of its strongest advantages. It is only about a five-minute walk from Bugis MRT Station (Exit B), and just steps away from Bugis Junction and Bugis Street, two of Singapore’s most vibrant shopping and dining areas. There is also a 7-Eleven convenience store directly across the hotel, which is very handy for quick needs or late-night snacks. Although the building appears slightly dated, the facilities are well-maintained and function perfectly fine, ensuring guests still enjoy a pleasant and comfortable stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating—they provided smooth assistance during check-in and were very helpful in arranging a taxi to the airport. My room was spacious, clean, and cozy, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a long day exploring the city. Another highlight is that tap water is safe to drink, which adds an extra layer of convenience for travelers. Considering its strategic location, room quality, and level of service, the room rate is quite reasonable and well worth the price. Overall, Village Hotel Bugis delivers an excellent stay experience that balances comfort, accessibility, and value—definitely a hotel I would recommend for anyone visiting Singapore.

Though Carlton Hotel is not a new hotel in town, apparently they just had their rooms renovated and it is very clean, a/c very cold which is good, and no unpleasant odor. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s a recommended hotel to stay in, value for money. Will surely come back again to stay at Carlton on our next trip to Singapore.

Stayed at Mi Bencoolen Hotel for two days with my sister and niece. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and very family-friendly. My first time staying here. It was wonderful, the staff were friendly, easy check-in and check-out. Even got an early check-in thanks to staff guidance (please convey my biggest appreciation to the hotel receptionist on afternoon shift Dec 15th, forgot to ask the big guy’s name). Honestly, this accommodation is highly recommended! It’s very close to the MRT station, and even though it’s a self check-in system, there was a receptionist when I arrived who was super helpful. It's a good place to stay for a solo traveler. Nearby the Bugis MRT station. Clean and spacious bathroom. Locker/storage with a numpad-secured lock. Air circulation is maintained very well. No bad odor in the entire building. The pod itself is spacious. There is enough space next to the bed that can fit an opened 20-inch luggage.

The Pod @ Beach Road Boutique Capsule Hotel

Everything is super great. The bed is cozy and more spacious than I thought. Bathrooms are always clean, and they even provide a hair straightener. The location is also convenient to travel around since there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and many MRT stations nearby. The staff is friendly as well. I feel very safe staying here.

The staff is very accommodating, the place is very accessible where you can buy food ride a bus and also near in attraction like Haji lane, Arab street and Bugis. Slightly near in MRT station, just a 10 minutes walk going station. This is the best hostel to stay.

Hotel Clover 769 North Bridge Road

I stayed in Hotel Clover 769 North Bridge Road with my family. What I like the most from this hotel is its strategic location with many halal restaurants around. The hotel is located in the Bugis area, walking distance to the iconic Sultan mosque, Bugis MRT station, Bugis street, and Bugis junction. The hotel itself is very comfortable with nice and helpful staff. The room is clean and has complete facilities and amenities. I would recommend this hotel as one of the options to stay in Singapore.
