Science Centre Singapore (SCS) is an institution in Jurong East that’s focused on promoting science and technology. It has more than 1,000 interactive exhibits, one of which being the Defending Science Exhibition, where you can watch heated things via a thermal camera. You may also witness how a volt coil generates electrical arcs at the Atrium, or dare to touch buzzing cockroaches at Insectmania.
Hear more about sounds and vibrations on Amplified the Science Show, which is regularly held at Maxwell Auditorium. You may also try the games around the Climate Machine in Hall B, or catch one movie at the Omni Theatre, Southeast Asia’s largest seamless dome screen. Other interactive halls feature animal encounters, immersive experimental exhibitions, and a human brain fact showcase.
