Nostalgia at its best. This is an authentic old inn, so if you are looking for the Marriott this is not for you. Excellent views of the mountains, all the staff were fantastic. Please do yourself a favor and spend some time with Alan, the piano player. Happy hour piano bar, doesn’t get much better. Oh yea, it’s close to all those trails too.

Rude and condescending reception staff, would only talk to my husband, a ridiculous check in process of passports - not had that anywhere else in Australia. The property is falling to pieces, floor boards which feel like you will fall through them, tiles falling off the wall in the bathroom. The view which was their main selling point was questionable as had loads of run down buildings in front of you. Expected a lot better

Easy and comfortable place to stay at this grand old hotel. May account for the odd musty smell at times. The bar entrance area is a great place to sit with a view, beautifully upholstered arm chairs with an art deco vibe. Stayed in the heritage room - standard basic room - so no view and the bathroom was dated and in need of a reno. But clean and comfortable. The bed was the best. King size and really comfortable. The room was spacious and pleasant. Tv needs an upgrade to smart tv. Parking is easy and free. Pool hotel is a great place after a walk in the national park - which is glorious!! Initially booked for 3 nights and booked an additional night. Great place to visit. 😊
