I do like this hotel. The staff was friendly. A $200 hold for “incidentals” is a bit much. There is no housekeeping. If you need your garbage changed or fresh towels, you must call front desk. You cannot call for a to-go order at the restaurant. You have to go to the restaurant and order in person. Skip the dishes found me just fine both days.

Great place out of the hustle and bustle (and homlesness) in Vernon. Appreciated the outside entries, as we had our dog with us. Overall, 'the Castle' was in great shape, and we would really like to see it in the summer once the trees and shrubbery leaf out.

Great spot for a relaxing getaway. Had a fantastic dinner at the Bistro, enjoyed the hottub and the rooms are fantastic! Will stay again for sure!

The only downside was the lack of parking near our room. This was literally the most minor of inconvenience as we just had to walk from the neighboring parking lot. The front desk personel were incredibly friendly and helpful, 5 stars for them. Our suite was great, very clean, quiet and comfortable
