The hotel had a computer failure when we arrived. We couldn't check in; it took several hours to get rectified. Other than that, it was a good hotel. One drawback - you have to walk up about 15 steps to get to the hotel lobby. With luggage, it was a struggle. But a big plus: it's located next to the Helsinki train station. From the airport, you can take a train to the station, then walk about 1/2 block to the hotel.

Great location, right at the train station, central Helsinki, easy to get around the city to the ferries, Loyly spa, Senate square, museums, etc. Staff always helpful. Stayed in a room with twin beds, the beds were not great. Otherwise everything was terrific.

If you're looking for a convenient location, this is it - it's right by the railway station and smack in the center of the city. It's a new-ish hotel, so everything's very polished and fresh. The room itself was pretty small, but since I was only there to sleep, it didn't matter - the bed was comfortable, the shower has a rainfall effect, and it was clean and comfortable. The style is art deco-y, which I liked. They have bikes that you can take out (for free, I think) as an added bonus.

I was given a very bad room to begin with, then moved to a nicer room for the first two days, then they moved me to a different room which was very inconvenient. On the top of it, two jackets ( for my wife and me) were not moved and could. It be traced. We needed these for our subsequent travel to Iceland. I went back to the previous room with staff’s help, bothered them but could not retrieve. Then went downstairs (-1), and found both bundled up in a plastic bag in housekeeper’s room. What a surprise? How was this possible? If I didn’t go there, I bet we would not have gotten these back. I requested 10, 000 Hyatt points at least but they said that I have to go through you (Expedia). Please respond asap and offer some adequate compensation. Thanks

Although the property advertises that it is air conditioned, our room had big west facing windows and was sweltering. If there was any air conditioning, it did not work at all. Although it was cool outside, the windows could not be opened. They moved us to a room that was so tiny that there was no place to set the suitcase down to open it. The A/C in that room barely worked.

A beautiful hotel, the layout takes reference to the old offices of this old admin building for the Helsinki railway, the decor is fantastic. The room is well appointed, again the decor is to the highest level. The only draw back is the entrance, as it was difficult to climb the front stairs with luggage - this needs to be addressed
