This was the first time I'd seen a buffet breakfast being hidden away, placed in the kitchen, and rationed by the staff to just one spoonful. Even the rice was rationed. The chicken menu only had one small piece of wing. Later that night, I planned to have coffee at the restaurant, but I wasn't allowed to dine in unless it was all-you-can-eat. Why should we be forced to eat a large meal at night, when we can't even have coffee at the restaurant?

Our family and I thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at Aston Anyer. All the facilities and service were excellent, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The hotel is very family-friendly. The hotel also provides a designated smoking area, but staff were lacking in supervision of guests who indiscriminately smoked, despite the no-smoking signs, especially in the pool area, as there are many children's activities there. Perhaps more no-smoking signs and more supervision should be provided during peak times when children are playing in the pool area. Overall, everything was good and enjoyable.

I'm sorry, the AC isn't working. I had to go downstairs and talk to the staff before it was fixed. It wasn't cold right away, it took over 4 hours to cool down. It was also very noisy sleeping at night, it seemed like they were fixing the room. Breakfast in the morning, we got fried chicken with garlic, but I swear the chicken smelled so bad, it was like eating a corpse, and there were even green flies swarming around while we ate. The room was clean. There was nothing wrong from the reception to the room. However, how could this 4-star hotel not have a lifeguard? Hotels above 4-star standards have lifeguards. It's written at the swimming pool that there are no lifeguards and jumping is prohibited. What if someone jumps in and gets injured, there's no one to stop them. Also, with the restaurant, don't squeeze the food budget. Due to Eid al-Adha, the dishes provided are less varied & at the buffet almost all are bland except for ketupat sayur (but there is no animal protein). Tables in the restaurant cannot be combined because the tables are made of marble. You know the consequences if the situation brings a family of more than 4. And the table is a cafe table, not a restaurant table that is forced with 4 chairs. And one table is filled with 8 glasses measuring 200-250 ml which takes up space. Food cannot be brought into the room unless sick. When I asked for a band-aid / hansaplast (first aid kit), they were looking for it but there was no response (there was no first aid kit). The elevators don't have air conditioning, so the smell from the elevator's engine wafts into the building. The restaurant staff are unfriendly. Sorry, I can't go back.

I finally got to stay at Aston after waiting on the waiting list. Let's start with the good ones! The location is excellent, not too far from the Padarincang alternative road junction. It's right on the seafront, offering a private beach. The beach is right down from the pool, so it's not a long walk and you can reach the beach and swimming pool. The beach is gently sloping and fenced off, so you don't get big waves, but that's okay. The beach is rocky if you go a little further in (towards the sea gate). So if you want to go in the middle, wear sandals. The food is quite varied and rather ordinary. We stayed for two nights, the only difference being the side dishes at the buffet. At the buffet, the food is served by the person. There's a wide variety of bakery items, including donuts, bomboloni, pain au chocolate, danish, cinnamon rolls, etc. Now for the disappointing part: THE ROOM. The walls are very thin. People running around in the corridors are audible. Coincidentally, when we stayed upstairs and next to it, it was EXACTLY as noisy as it could get. I couldn't sleep with a migraine 😭. Oh yeah, the mattress also sagged a bit, not firm enough. My husband got a neck ache because the soft mattress met the soft pillow. I'm in room 311. Please inspect the room.

Our family and I thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at Aston Anyer. All the facilities and service were excellent, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The hotel is very family-friendly. The hotel also provides a designated smoking area, but staff were lacking in supervision of guests who indiscriminately smoked, despite the no-smoking signs, especially in the pool area, as there are many children's activities there. Perhaps more no-smoking signs and more supervision should be provided during peak times when children are playing in the pool area. Overall, everything was good and enjoyable.

The room was clean. There was nothing wrong from the reception to the room. However, how could this 4-star hotel not have a lifeguard? Standard hotels above 4 stars have lifeguards. It is written in the swimming pool that there are no lifeguards and no jumping is allowed. What if someone jumps and gets injured, there is no one to stop them. Then, with the restaurant, don't squeeze the food budget. Related to Eid al-Adha, the dishes provided are less varied & at the buffet almost all are bland except for ketupat sayur (but there is no animal protein). Tables in the restaurant cannot be combined because the tables are made of marble. You know the consequences if the situation brings a family of more than 4. And the table is a cafe table, not a restaurant table that is forced with 4 chairs. And 1 table is filled with 8 glasses measuring 200-250 ml which takes up space. *Food cannot be brought into the room unless sick. *When I asked for a plaster / hansaplast (first aid kit) they were looking for it but there was no response back. (There is no first aid kit). *The elevator doesn't have air conditioning, so the smell from the elevator engine wafts into the elevator. *The restaurant staff are not very friendly. I finally got to stay at Aston after waiting on the waiting list. Let's start with the good ones! The location is excellent, not too far from the Padarincang alternative road junction. It's right on the seafront, offering a private beach. The beach is right down from the pool, so it's not a long walk and you can reach the beach and swimming pool. The beach is gently sloping and fenced off, so you don't get big waves, but that's okay. The beach is rocky if you go a little further in (towards the sea gate). So if you want to go in the middle, wear sandals. The food is quite varied and rather ordinary. We stayed for two nights, the only difference being the side dishes at the buffet. At the buffet, the food is served by the person. There's a wide variety of bakery items, including donuts, bomboloni, pain au chocolate, danish, cinnamon rolls, etc. Now for the disappointing part: THE ROOM. The walls are very thin. People running around in the corridors are audible. Coincidentally, when we stayed upstairs and next to it, it was EXACTLY as noisy as it could get. I couldn't sleep with a migraine 😭. Oh yeah, the mattress also sagged a bit, not firm enough. My husband got a neck ache because the soft mattress met the soft pillow. I'm in room 311. Please inspect the room.
