The location is perfect, just in front of the train station and metro, plenty of restaurants and supermarkets. Only 10 mnts by metro to Duomo area. I booked the room for 3 people and it was so big, and the best thing is they gave free buffet breakfast and dinner through out our stay.

More about hotels in Milan

Overview of Milan

Milan, Italy's fashion and financial capital, is renowned for its unique blend of historical and modern influences. Tourism Top Attractions in Milan

Here are the top attractions you should add to your list when traveling to Milan:

  1. Milan Cathedral (Duomo)

A masterpiece of faith and art, Milan’s Duomo has been in the making for over 600 years. This 14th-century cathedral boasts airy marble interiors and stunning stained-glass windows, symbolising the city's rich creativity and ambition.

  1. Lake Como

Famous for its breathtaking views and romantic villas, Lake Como has captivated visitors since Roman times, offering timeless beauty and tranquillity.

  1. Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

  1. Hangar Bicocca

Once a locomotive factory on the northern edge of Milan, this vast hangar has been repurposed into a striking art space. Unlike other buildings in the former industrial area now turned into shopping centres, Hangar Bicocca offers expansive galleries for contemporary exhibitions.

  1. Armani Silos

How safe is Milan for tourists?

Tourists and first-time travellers need not worry, as Milan is a generally safe city to visit. During the day, the city is bustling with people and visitors, creating a lively atmosphere. Central Milan is particularly secure, and strolling along its main streets, whether during the day or night, poses little risk.

What is The Weather Like in Milan?

Milan experiences a temperate climate, characterised by hot, humid summers and cold winters. Summers are typically warm, with plenty of sunshine, while winters can be quite chilly, often with temperatures dipping close to freezing. The city remains partly cloudy throughout the year, adding a unique charm to its skyline. Compared to Rome, Milan is notably colder, so it’s wise to come well-prepared with warm clothing during the winter months. Despite the colder conditions, Milan sparkles beautifully in the winter, making it a worthwhile destination even during the colder season.

How to Get Milan from Rome Airport?

The most efficient way to travel from Rome's Fiumicino Airport (FCO) to Milano Centrale Station is by taking a direct flight, which takes approximately 1 hour and 47 minutes. Alternatively, Trenitalia's high-speed Frecciarossa trains offer a comfortable and scenic journey from Rome to Milan, taking around 3 hours and 46 minutes. Fiumicino Airport provides shuttle buses that run every 5 to 15 minutes, connecting its various terminals and parking areas, making transfers between flights or train connections seamless. Although there are bus services available, the journey by bus from Rome Fiumicino to Milan can take as long as 9 hours and 15 minutes, making air or rail travel the more convenient options.
