The hotel is very nice. Our only issue was that we requested a room for 3 people, when we arrived the room we were assigned had only 2 twin beds and no space for an extra bed. When we went down to the reception desk to present our issue we were told that they would set up an extra bed in the room. We told them there was no space and if they were able to fit an extra bed there would be no space to maneuver inside the room. There only offer was to upgrade us to a suite and charge us $450 additional dollars for our 2 night stay. We declined. They set up the extra bed. We had to climb over the extra bed to be able to access the bathroom. We managed but it is definitely NOT what you expect from a Hyatt Regency.

The hotel was great, the rooms were a good size and very clean and updated. I only gave it 4 stars because the dining closed so early. Other than that I loved it.

The hotel lobby is undergoing major renovations, but aside from that, we had a pleasant stay at this excellent hotel. The rooms are clean, well-renovated, and reasonably sized. The hotel is conveniently located near two different subway stations and just one stop from the heart of Shinjuku.
