Had a good stay at this hotel, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean too and the area was convenient. The train station was 5 mins away for instance.

Very conveniently located 5 minutes walk from Ueno Station. Easy check in and check out. Across the road is a 711. Exhaust fans in bathroom would be good in winter as high condensation after 4 people showering.

Clean room with good amenities. Tokyo is short on space the room was compact and no where for bags. Perfect for a one night stay close to the train station and Ueno Park

The room was generally clean but the bathtub looked a bit concerning so I opted for showers instead of baths during my stay. The hotel didn’t feel very secure. Anyone could easily access the rooms via the elevator and the traditional key-based locks made me feel they could be easily replicated. Furthermore, the room safe wasn’t bolted so I wasn’t comfortable leaving any valuables there.

Room was spacious enough to open 3 large luggages and still have floor space to walk. However, the floor itself was rather dirty (my luggage had lots of dust and dirt stuck to it). Bed and pillows were just nice for me, very comfortable and warm. The blinds were a little confusing to operate.

Visit didnt start well, when the receptionist ignored us when we arrived for 10 minutes while on the phone, and also the wait was in the rather shabby reception area with for some reason the AC going full tilt in heat mode and we were sweltering. Rooms are not too bad but I am not sure if the size measurements are accurate as seem small even by Tokyo standards despite the sizes indicating larger than comparable hotels. Bathroom has a really awkward double sliding door. On the plus side the sound insulation was very good and the traffic on the very close flyover in the front was not audible at all. There are fare better hotels available for the same price.

Overall pretty good experience. The blinds was letting in light when the sun rises even though it's closed. There's little areas where the light goes through. No room cleaning for consecutive night stay. Also self service to get new towels and amenities and you'll have to throw away trash daily. About 5-8 mins walk to Ueno station which is convenient. There's also 7-11 and Family mart nearby. Staff are friendly and polite. Easy check-in and check-out.

The picture on Expedia looks like a nice proper hotel. Surprise to find it hidden along the shops. Have to take an old lift to the lobby. The place is clean as per Japanese standard. Room is big for 3 of us. Looks like student accommodation. No view though. Location very convenient to UENo station. Staff are polite.
