the b ginza

The room is typical size, you need to pay attention to the bed sizes when you book! We got a queen size bed so we had no surprises but I overheard some people making that mistake. The room is clean but I stayed at much better hotels in Kyoto, not sure if the standards are lower in Tokyo. What I mean by standards is about what is included in the room; at the b Ginza, you have to grab supplies from the lobby yourself - things are not in the room for you. That was a bit of a surprise to us and disappointing, but at the same time, it's much more than what you get from most hotels in North America! The coffee in the lobby is actually great, and the juice available is really refreshing. Overall 4/5 because I didn't want to spend too much time in the room, I wanted to see Tokyo.

Very modern, nice and clean hotel with the best location and great breakfast. We stayed for 10 days here and everything was perfect! I totally recommend this hotel and I’ll be back ;)

I loved the B Ginza, fantastic decor, bed, bathroom the complimentary coffee and pancakes! The staff were superb and so courteous. I would highly recommend the B to anyone visiting.

Exceptional hotel! We had a lovely 9 nights at the b hotel, and always remarked on our exceptional choice. The location is perfect. Close to the train and subway station, seconds away from Donki/Family Mart/7 Eleven/Drugstores, and walling distance to almost every major store you could want to visit in Tokyo. The staff was wonderful - special shoutout to Subash who took great care of us and Gina in the dining room. We booked the queen corner room, and found the bed comforable and spacious. The room is a bit awkward as rheres a support wall that takes up some room beside the bed, but it didn't make too much a difference since we mostly just slept in the room. The shower is fantastic, and hits all rhe right notes! One thing we didn't realize is that there is almost no storage space ie., drawers or closet space. Just two knobs off which to hang some clothes, and 4 hangers in total. The bathroom has two tiny shelves under the sink, and two under the mirror for storage. We ended using the ample space under the bed to store shopping bags and suitcases which worked out well. Breakfast buffet was amazing and worth paying extra for, since you get a nice mix of Japanese food and Western style breads and pastries. We enjoyed Japanese fried chicken, salmon, mackeral, dumplings, chicken fried rice, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, amazing buns, milk toast, and fresh fruit and yogurt daily. We will gladly stay at the b Ginza again, or at its other sister hotels across Japan!

The location was situated where the metro was very easy to get. Very walkable. I had my own room so I had plenty of space. But clean and love the all day coffee and early pancake machine. Great experience.

Staff and amenities

This place was a bit dingy and run down. I only stayed here for one night so it was fine, but would recommend somewhere else if you need a longer stay.

I loved the hotel staff. The front desk staff was wonderful. The staff that worked in restaurant were wonderful. Everything was perfect. Everyone worked so hard. I love your pancakes. The breakfast buffet was great. I liked the variety each day. Your location is great. I like the hotel was quiet. Thank you for making my stay wonderful and comfort. Tokyo is great super city to visit.

Super friendly staff! Great location. Rooms are a bit small. Worth it to book thw bigger room. Ended up upgrading our room. Staff made the process seemless. Will definitely book again!

Great location, good room sized when compared to other hotels in Japan. Nice amenities including free coffee, and daily drink tickets. Loved the towel changes everyday. The bed is harder than normal but we were okay with it.

Great staff. Great location. Ginza is the best. Multiple convenience stores located within 1 block and a Don Quixote is a block away as well. Would highly recommend.

Staff at the breakfast were very friendly and helpful. One staff member at the reception was rude but the rest of the staff was ok. The room was clean except for the corners of the shower door and around the washing basin. It needs a proper scrubbing clean. The Amenities were a great selection. We will stay again.

The location is super convenient—just a short walk from the train station with plenty of shops around. But there's one thing that really needs to be improved: the washing machines. They only have two, and each wash takes a solid two hours. Plus, you can’t reserve them in advance. It’s such a hassle having to trek up to the second floor to see if one’s free. I tried to wash my clothes four times during my six-day stay but only managed to get one load done. I wasn’t lucky enough to wash again!
