Our room was very small and the hotel is very authentic but overall the location is excellent. Walk out the door to everything you need. Lots of restaurants within a minute. All kinds of stores. Was quiet at night with great AC.

We love staying here. Rooms with the balconies are renovated and spacious. Other rooms have just enough space if you’re spending most of your time at the beach. Not a lot of room to move around, however, clean and comfy.

We had a lovely stay! The area was safe, and the hotel was clean. We had and all inclusive package we purchased from Expedia which also included our plane tickets as well. We ate all our meals at the beautiful sister property Playa Los Arcos which had the restaurant at their Resort. It was a short walk to get to the neighboring property across the street and wasn't a problem at all for us each day. The air conditioning was great in our room and our bed was comfortable. I will mention that the room is small but it was absolutely sufficient for us to sleep and shower. There also is a pool on the 4th floor, which also has lounge chairs for relaxing. There's also an area to eat and get drinks up by the pool on the site. The Beach views were great from the sister property and I also was able to order drinks while lounging at the beach as part of my all-inclusive package. We had a great time and on Saturday the hotel included a free performance while we ate dinner . I also highly recommend the rhythms of the night show as well which has nothing to do with this hotel but was a wonderful experience.

The noise of the mechanics in this building are atrocious. Incredibly loud throbbing, buzzing and grinding. We are unable to sleep. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Boutique hotel that is a quiet respite, yet in the heart of the action.

Upon check-in, I encountered some challenges due to my hearing difficulties and the desk clerk’s accent, but he was incredibly polite and patient. However, I was disappointed to discover the hotel’s strict wristband policy. As someone who enjoys having friends visit, I found it frustrating that guests were not allowed to enter my room without a wristband. This policy felt overly restrictive, especially considering that the hotel is not fully all-inclusive. The first room I had was horrible. I tried to make it work for two nights. I did not sleep either night. On day three I went to the desk at 6am and begged them to move my room. When I did what they said (pack my stuff, get out at 11, return at 3, and they would issue a new room) I was then told that it was not possible. The poor desk clerk - I know he was not trying to be difficult but after two nights of no sleep (NOTE TO HOTEL: change the damn batteries in the smoke detector in the lobby/atrium once and for all- it beeps all night long!) and having been told at 6am what would happen (she promised me) - I know I was short and snarky. He eventually called his manager and they put me in another room. The new room has a newer mattress, and at least I did not feel like I was laying on a coroner slab - not kidding- felt like I was laying on cement or maybe a box spring and not a mattress (it wasn’t just a box spring- I did check). I want to emphasize that the staff were the highlight of my stay.

Room was okay. It needs some updating but it was fine for what we wanted. Good location. Staff was friendly. Only issue we had was that we were charged extra because I accidentally booked for one adult and there were two of us.

Staff were amazing, thanks Marisol and Alejandro and concierge. Booked VIP and received free breakfast and upgraded balcony room. Very clean, quiet and safe. Loved use of loungers ocean front. Restaurant was exc lent and staff there wonderful at the Playa Los Arcos. Thanks Expedia.ca for a great stay and great flights on WestJet.

I’ve stayed in this hotel 4 times now and would definitely stay again, it’s location is great and the staff are always friendly and helpful

Beautiful room ... shower was large and the water pressure was impressive. The upper pool level was a peaceful oasis!

EXCELLENT on all counts

A/C worked well and the tree provided shade over the pool.

Staff was amazing. The location was great, and the rooftop pool was lovely. The access to the beach and sister hotel was great, and the food for the all-inclusive was very good. There were a couple of negative items. Our room had obvious moisture/mold issues which could be smelled and seen immediately upon entering the room. Also, there was no coffee available in the rooms or on site. The only coffee available at the all-inclusive restaurant was extremely hot and burnt and awful. There were espresso machines at the bar, but after asking many times it was clear tgat the staff did not know how to use them and espresso based coffees were unavailable.

This hotel is a SCAM. The rooms smelled TERRIBLE, the bathrooms were DIRTY, and there was black mold on the walls and AC vents. We had to change rooms three times, and none looked like the photos online. To make things worse, our towel keys were STOLEN from our room on the last day, and the hotel still charged us $15 each — the same thing happened to our friends staying there too. Very suspicious. AVOID this place.

This was the 3rd time my brother and our spouses visited in the last 11 months .The people and the culture keep us coming back. The staff are great, Louis and Joel were great help at the front desk. Diana and Raquel took good care of us on the roof top pool. Our best friends that feel like brothers working at the lounge, Victor, Alexandre, Angel, and Riccardo, we miss you as soon as we leave. Gracias Martha for the free room upgrade, we loved the balcony room. We will definitely be back next year.
