The staff was amazing and so attentive! The breakfast was gourmet and the French toast was the best I’ve ever had! We loved our stay so much!

This place was amazing! The staff are next level (Milo, Jose, Mario, Luis and Leo) knew our names and likes and dislikes within hours. The food and drinks were also amazing. I’d come back in a heartbeat!

Clean rooms Yes Clean Hotel Showers you are to die for Bed was perfect .In Tulum, this beachfront hotel stands out for its beauty. While there are many impressive hotels along this beach, the exceptional staff at this particular hotel have made our stay the best we've had in a long time, outshining our experiences at numerous hotels globally. Special recognition is due to Jose, Milo, Leonardo, and Mario, whose dedication and kindness have elevated this hotel to a luxurious oasis, with their warm hearts being the ultimate luxury. The genuine connections they fostered with us, sharing laughter and stories, as well as discussing our families, have made this vacation truly special. The exemplary service provided by these staff members has earned this hotel a reputation as a true gem in Tulum; accolades are well-deserved. These guys deserve a big bonus or at the very least a giant thank you for their services.

The room was musty. The service from the waiters was the best part of our stay. We ended up going to Akumal to a beach club there. The smell of the seaweed made it impossible to stay around long. Of course, this is no fault to the hotel. Just something to know. It appears this probably used to be a nice place to stay. But, they are not a above a two star establishement. We have stayed in other places for the same cost in the Riveria Maya. They had many more amenities and were much cleaner than this place. We usually ate breakfast and left for the day.

The beach was very bad tons of seaweed and very smelly. The breakfast was great.

It was a wonderful experience and our stay here was amazing. Everyone here was wonderful. We had a great time and people at Ma’xanab were amazing and made us feel at home. We are definitely coming back and staying at the Ma’xanab.

The loveliest boutique hotel in Tulum! The room was modern and spacious, but what really sets Ma’xanab apart from the rest is the service. Before we had even arrived, the concierges were reaching out via WhatsApp to offer assistance planning our trip. They helped us book transportation, excisions, and massages. We felt most comfortable booking through the hotel to ensure quality and safety, they won’t lead you astray. The restaurant staff were friendly and the food was some of the best we had in Tulum. Fresh fruit and delicious breakfast was included every day. They also had bicycles for us to use, which allowed us to visit the Parque del Jaguar, town, and various restaurants. The bikes were free of charge and made everything much more accessible. We loved every moment and would recommend to any couple looking for a romantic getaway. Thank you Fabiola, Valeria, and Jose or making our vacation so wonderful!

This is a boutique hotel with only 16 rooms. You have attention and the staff gets to know you quickly. They have exceptional service and the rooms are extremely comfortable.

Great experience, The staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful all the time, I recommend to try the restaurant from the hotel it was really good and breakfast was included in the price, during our stay they helped us with nearby restaurants reservations and also recommending places to visit.

We had a great time at Ma’xanab. The personal and staff were amazing, very attentive and super nice. The food and drink were delicious!

Our stay was excellent, this hotel is the perfect place to unplug and relax. The property is beautiful, and the on-site restaurant was outstanding. We dined there multiple times during our stay and even returned after we had checked out. Although it was sargazo (seaweed) season and we couldn’t fully enjoy the beach club, the exceptional service at the pool and restaurant more than made up for it. Special thanks to the servers Walter, Hermelindo, Jose, and Luis who provided top-notch service throughout our visit. The concierge and hotel hosts were available from morning to evening, and both Armando and Valeria were incredibly helpful. They assisted with restaurant reservations, gave great local recommendations, and even arranged a rental car to be delivered directly to the hotel. Overall, the service was a 10 out of 10 and made our stay truly memorable. We will return.

The hotel is small and there were never a lot of guests around which was exactly what we wanted. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful with anything you need which was appreciated as it was our first time in the area and needed assistance navigating the area, booking day trips, etc. A few “cons” for us: The menu is fairly small and got sick of breakfast options by the end of the week. The hotel “gym” is very limited.

Hands down one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had in the world. Clean, beautiful aesthetic, friendly over the top accommodating staff. The food was also absolutely to die for. I also will be breaking my go to high end European bath products and will be buying the brand they use here called loredana. I will absolutely be back. We also walked off resort every evening very late and felt totally safe.
