The hotel and the rooms are getting very tired looking. We were booked for a deluxe room. The bedding was poor, one duvet was paper thin, the other did not fit the cover and was lumpy. The sheets did not fit the beds. The toilet bowl was cracked, the shower had a leak near the shower head. The cleanliness in the bathroom was poor. Very disappointing.

The gym manager sorted us out when the reception failed to respond to request for tea and milk. Printed our boarding passes for us, which was helpful. Good location for airport as multiple buses and also the tram run to airport and also to central Edinburgh and the zoo - bus stop just outside, tram and train within easy walking distance. Good selection of items for breakfast.

The hotel seems to be having some work , I paid extra for an upgrade …. Don’t bother The rooms are a bit tired and the bathroom tiny Location great because we needed parking - although paying extra for parking is a bit much if I’m staying at your hotel - so we went to Edinburgh for food, bus stop to the centre right outside the hotel so very convenient instead of a bus - the hotel staff that we encountered were all really friendly and knowledgable

Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, lots of choice , pool was a bonus with both sauna and steam room working . Great Hairdresser tucked away in a corner , her name is Cheryl and she saved the day with a great cut and blowdry , Rooms were big enough and stocked with water tea and coffee, did not realise till last day that room domestics were done every 3 days , so had to ask for extra towels and coffee at reception . If I could change anything it would be the pillows on the bed , not so comfy , overall a great stay and perfect for using the tram into city .
