Wonderful property! Close to airport AND Canadas Wonderland. Clean room with a fun jet tub. The room decor is outdated but kind of makes it awesome! Lol and the staff are all so kind. Great breakfast too. Smaller pool, cool places to sit outdoors. Will be back for sure.

The location was great 2 minutes off the 407. Parking was easy. The rooms were clean but very dated. The breakfast included was nothing but coffee yogurt and a muffin. Early check in we asked for was only if we paid $50. That didn’t happen but would have been nice as we travelled a distance to get there and needed to leave for a business meeting 20 minutes after allowed check in. The price kept changing on various apps getting cheaper the day before our stay.

The hotel is well located in Markham. However arriving at night from Denison St, we drove into a poorly lit drive way which ended up in its neighbor's dark parking lot. Turns out the hotel parking is via a long side road from its neighbor's driveway! Once inside, the entire hotel ground floor appears to be an afterthought by the architect. Anyone new to the hotel will be dis-oriented by a myriad of hall ways, poor signage and a reception desk hidden behind the elevator shaft. While most reception staff were helpful, there was one who asked me to pay $1.25 for a throw-away toothbrush and another who told me to buy my own water when our room was not restocked with bottled water on our second day. Though the hotel is about 12 years old, the maintenance has not been kept up. Inside our room, the bedside phone's audio does not work. The vinyl cover on the only swivel chair is falling apart and so is more fit for the junk yard than a hotel room charging $200+/night. Inside the bath room, a wall paper is starting to lift off at the edge. Pillows with trapped odour, tired looking linens and pillow cases should also be retired. Lastly the room's coffee maker was totally disgusting inside, apparently no one checked what was left by a previous guest. For the breakfast, it is only little better than most motels, with the only warm item being the oatmeal. And as if to ensure no one eat or drink too much, it features possibly the smallest plate and coffee cup used for breakfast.

It was discovered at around 8:30 am, the room ( 528 ) had bed bugs....absolutely disgusting. We left our clothes there in the room. We had back up in the car. The employees at the front check out really couldn't care. Told us to upload the picture of the bugs to an email to corporate....that was it.
