What Guests Say About Their Stay

Wonderful to be able to book dog-friendly accomodation in the middle of the city. The staff were wonderful, the room was comfortable and well equipped. We stayed in the Grey suite, which may be unsuitable for people with disabilities due to an internal staircase within the room, however it suited our needs brilliantly and I believe other rooms are more accessible. I would absolutely choose to stay at this hotel again if I was seeking accommodation in the area.

The hotel is in a great location. Everything was withing 15minute walking distance. The optional (additional) breakfast was good. The layout is a bit confusing, and the stairs didn't help much. The bath tub was elevated so I wouldn't recommend this hotel to older people or anyone with knee problems. The showerhead was unadjustable. I had to shower closer to it all the time. What made my stay pleasant were the employees. The front desk reps were nice and friendly, housekeeping ladies were polite and the breakfast buffet attendants were fast, attentive and friendly. I was impressed on how they all liked working there.

Comfortable bed but rest of room very shabby. Windows didn’t close properly so lots of noise from busy street outside. Big leak in the bath/shower. Lots of moths in the room. Only a brief overnight stay otherwise would have asked for a different room.

The staff are all awesome. We had an issue with the stairs in our room and the staff resolved the room change swiftly. Check room layout and position before booking. Everyone was so friendly. Very clean rooms. The hotel is a historic looking building and retains nice period features. The location is a great one . Metro station is a short walk away and central to walk anywhere really.
