We booked two rooms for one night before an early flight to the US. Overall, the hotel was pleasant enough, but there were some significant issues that affected our stay. Unfortunately, the lifts to the second floor were out of order, which meant carrying four large suitcases up the stairs to our rooms and then back down again the following morning. No assistance with luggage was offered and after making multiple trips, I was exhausted. The check-in experience was also disappointing. The staff were rude and initially offered us rooms with single beds, despite this not being what I had booked or paid for. In addition, they failed to mention that the hotel is split into two separate wings. In my eagerness to get settled, I missed the signage and carried all our luggage up to the second floor in the wrong wing, only to discover our rooms were elsewhere. This meant taking everything back down and repeating the process in the correct wing. A brief explanation at check-in would have saved a lot of unnecessary effort. On a more positive note, the bar was very good, with a decent range of drinks, and the bartender was friendly and welcoming. The wake-up call arrived as requested, and the hotel was helpful in arranging a taxi to the airport, although the fare was quite expensive. We did not eat in the restaurant, so I cannot comment on the food. While the hotel itself was generally nice, the poor check-in experience and lack of support with luggage left us disappointed.

Convenient

We got a handicap room, and it was crazy for ppl who have no disability. The shower was made for its purpose, but for us, the floor got completely soaked, and we nearly fell. They said we would have to pay for an upgrade, which was crazy, seeing as we had booked a regular room.

Good hotel for in transit travel using Heathrow

Great stop on our way to Heathrow to avoid the long drive- staff was very friendly and kind!

Everything was really good including dinner and breakfast. The only issue during our stay was that the lift/elevator broke down but staff were very helpful carrying luggage downstairs. Apparently there is only one lift and it breaks down regularly because it's old. Make sure you get a ground floor room if you find stairs difficult.

Honestly, if I was staying here more than 1 night, I would’ve found somewhere else. I booked a king room, and ended up with a full and a twin. Not at all what was advertised. We were too tired to say anything so just dealt with it. Walls were so thin that we could hear our neighbor brushing their teeth. Also, around 8am, room service knocked on our neighbors door for 5 minutes straight. Super aggravating and impossible to sleep through. The showers may be one of the worst designs I’ve ever seen. Half of the shower is completely useless, and water floods straight out of it. You can see wood rotting around the bathroom door where water has clearly flooded before. Breakfast was mid, as expected for hotel breakfast. Coffee was great with the fancy machines.

The hotel was convenient for an early flight from Heathrow Airport, which was the main advantage. However, the mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The restaurant was also disappointing—the food was not good at all. Overall, acceptable for a short airport stay, but I would not choose it again for comfort or dining.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, quiet and close to the airport

Overall everything was ok, but not spectacular. At first, I was offered a room on a second floor, but I had to take stairs because the elevator was under the maintanance. Eventually, I was given a different room with the elevator. Some other small things were missing as well. I left my tooth brush and tooth paste in my luggage that was at the airport. When I asked if I could get something to brush my teeth, they did not have anything to offer. The bed was ok, but on a soft side. However, the bed sheets had a smell. It was not very pleasant to sleep on them. The food at breakfast was also ok. On the bright side, stuff was helpfull and the music at the restaurant was not loud and it was pleasant.

Nice hotel, great staff but very noisy. Lots of comings and goings with people in rooms, buses and taxis coming and going at all hours. Tough to sleep to be honest, don’t feel rested at all.

Location was great. Room was clean and bed’s were comfortable.
