Everything ok I can't check in early even I was there in the morning
We arrive almost 3.00 pm and during check in our room was not ready and we have to wait for another 1/2 hour so that we can check in. overall is good except we didn't get enough towel. the pool is not big enough. we have so limited space to get swim. the water was unclean due to many people using the pool.
It is pleasant and comfortable. Friendly staff
Bed is nice and hotel view is good. Location great but only parking is problem and signboard from parking is not clear
Great and worth the money.
Great hotel great breakfast. Great location
They update us to the executive room, that's made us so happy but the reality is the bathroom was leaking and it was caused the floor so slippery. We stayed there with my parents and my toddler of course I worried they would fall down. I complained and they send their mechanic and house keeping. And the next day still leaks and I complained again. It took them 2 days tried to fix it and it couldn't so they offered whether we want to move to other room but we were checking out on the next day so it useless. And one thing the mechanic clean his hand using our towel, my mom saw it. It's disgusting. That's about the cleanliness and service. The room is very big and quite comfy. The views is ok. Hotel is connected to Plaza Merdeka so it's easy to find food and groceries. In front of the hotel is Chinatown and behind the hotel is Little India. At afternoon you can walk around the hotel and you can see the Astana. It's near esplanade also. Location wise very good.
Overall is okay but the lift is so slow.
Value for money. Will stay here again for sure. Location is very strategic.
Strategic location with delicious food for breakfast esp the Sarawak laksa.

If you want a room with a waterfront view, stay at the Hilton.
The first thing upon arriving at this hotel, one quickly realises that something is amiss, you don't really see anyone else but Muslim travellers staying here. That's not really an issue, but it does seem quite weird, turns out that if you trace the hotel ownership all the way back it's kinda owned by the Malaysian government at some point, hence at the end of the day, hotel performance is not a key metric that needs to be enforced. Anyway, my beef with the hotel is several fold. This hotel, like many things in Malaysia starts off as a brilliant Idea, which is poorly executed and terribly maintained, though only around 2 years old, it is starting to show it's issues. - room phone not working, can't call reception, multiple buttons on the phone for room service, call outside line etc which is not programmed, and confusing to the user. - room door lock not working (it actually broke when I left the room), can't get into my own room and had to change rooms. - shower door not fitted properly, ensuring entire bathroom gets flooded from showering. - Mould in bathroom corners, cracks in the bathroom grout, showers that spray in 10 directions. - Room not ready to check in until 4 pm. I absolutely regret choosing this over the Hilton.

OK but smoke was entering from the central ventilation system
Décent room with a small narrow window facing independence square (?). It was a joy to hear church bells when waking up on a Sunday morning. Easy walking distance to river walk. Hotel is attached to the mall. Breakfast buffet is forgettable, nothing special. We stayed in this hotel for a long weekend. We didn’t really have a restful sleep as adjacent rooms were noisy. Worse - someone smoking in another room - just ruined it for us. Sleeping was terrible as the smoke permeated out room as well.

Very comfortable, well positioned hotel.
This hotel has many favourable features: it is well placed in terms of the main town, the rooms are large and very comfortable, it has a nice pool area, the service is friendly, and it is attached to a modern shopping centre which has restaurants and shops of all kinds if you don't want to go out into town at that moment. It offers a very pleasant stay!

Welcome to Kuching!
A lovely way to start a two week trip to Borneo, this hotel is centrally located to allow you to get the most out of this fantastic city. The Waterfront is a beautiful new hotel, with all the amenities you require. The staff are incredibly helpful & always ready to give advice and guidance for new visitors to Asia like myself. The food is plentiful and covers almost every dietary requirement, with spectacular views of the river. There is a bar, which appears to close early evening although room service is available. Our room was beautiful, a medium class I believe, with a river view & fully air conditioned.
