DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station

Everyone helpful and efficient. Room was clean and very comfortable with a nice view and available for us weary travelers several hours before check in time. Breakfast was outstanding!

When I arrived at the hotel, I had to remind the receptionist that my Expedia reservation specified a room on a high floor. He responded that there was limited availability and that the only room he could offer was on the ninth floor with a view of the railroad tracks. He also stated that if I wanted a better room, I would need to pay an additional fee of more than 100 euros per night. In addition to this issue, I went two consecutive days without receiving any room service. On the first night, when I complained, the hotel apologized and explained that they were at full capacity. Their solution was simply to send someone with clean towels and to collect my trash. The following day, the same situation occurred — my room was not serviced, and all the trash remained there. I was too exhausted that evening to even request additional towels. Once again, I feel that Expedia does not adequately defend its customers in these types of situations. I have reported similar issues to Expedia on multiple occasions, and although I am always told that my case will be escalated, I never receive any follow-up or resolution. This ongoing lack of response leaves customers with a negative experience, despite consistently choosing Expedia to plan our trips and placing our trust in your service. I sincerely hope that Expedia begins to listen to and support its customers more effectively so that travelers feel protected and valued by their travel agency.

Helpful concierge

It was a pleasant stay. Staff are all friendly and will happily greet you and offer help when needed. Great location close to the central station and near a supermarket. The hotel has a great variety of breakfast and I even found gongee which is truly a surprise in an European hotel and much comfort to my Asian stomache. Will choose again next time in Amsterdam :)

Nice hotel good area

中央駅からもほど近く、運河沿いの部屋にアップグレイドしてもらいました。繁華街を散歩しながら夕食を楽しみました。１泊であったのが残念です。次回も宿泊します。

Staff are pretty nice, close to the train station. Really convenient

Great location next to the station and very friendly staff. Our first room on the 10th floor had fantastic views but was too noisy from the rooftop bar above. The hotel kindly moved us to a quieter room, though it was a downgrade. Overall still a good stay, but I’d recommend avoiding the top floor if you’re a light sleeper.

Because of a chance fraud staff was patient why I got approval of the room charge. The concierge helped me with navigating the area. Gave me a map and marked how I could get to my excursion location.
