Flora Centre Hotel & Spa

A clean and safe property that is in the heart of the Old Quarter. This property is conveniently located near most major attractions and is very quiet despite being in the hustle and bustle of a very congested area. I enjoyed my stay at this property and recommend to anyone visiting the Old Quarter. *Note: during the weekend, the streets around the hotel are closed in the evening due to the Night Market. So, if you need to be dropped off directly at the hotel, please plan to arrive prior to the closures.

I guess when I see 4* I had higher expectations but I guess in Hanoi, it’s different. The location was very good. Close to shops, food and everything. But far from the airport. The hotel condition was a different story. First room they gave us was 806 ( elevator only reach to 7 floor and you have to walk a flight yourself). Doable, but not convenient When we went into the room, it was in bad shape. Water stains all over the walls, corners, and pretty sure mold that was painted over. Badly painted patch jobs. We had tiny ants in the bathroom and we killed 4 ants in the bed. AC dripping water down on the floor. The floor boards we warped due to wetness/humidity. We checked in and they said we booked a 3 person room, even when we booked through Expedia they allowed us. We have 2 kids (8,11) which all fit it the room. They charged us $5usd extra for the person (didn’t provide extra towels or toothbrushes- had to reask daily). There was a king and single bed. The single bed was close to the mold. Not ideal for anyone to sleep. There were food crumbs from the single couch, to floor to bathroom. I used the luggage tag sticker from airline to pick up all the food pieces. I brought it attention to staff with showing evidence and they apologized. But due to “no vacancy” we slept in the room. They did come up to vacuum the room. But after 7 hrs of traveling we were too exhausted to care. They promised to move our stuff to new room.

We have stayed at Flora Center Hotel and Spa before so we already knew how fantastic it was! The rooms are nice and the staff were great again. They were helpful and responsive when things needed to be fixed which we really appreciated. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to others.

Staff were helpful but watch out when reserving because even though we had the booking confirmation for 4 people, they made us pay for the child saying the room was for 3. Also, when helping us arranging transportation to Ninh Binh, they charged us way more than we paid on the way back.

Great hotel

If I could give the staff and service more stars I would!! They are definitely the highlight of this hotel. The location of the hotel is great, breakfast was nice and the rooms were always clean. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to be back.

The hotel is really central to the old quarter. The hotel staff were very good and understanding however the place needs refurbishment. Water shower was really slow and temperamental and the furnishings are run down.

The hotel is in a great location, right in the middle of the old quarter. It is clean with a very good breakfast at low cost. Most importantly is the staff is friiendly and very helpful with any questions we had

Great location - walking distance to so many popular restaurants, markets, the lake and attractions. Staff and service were amazing! The only thing letting down this property is the mould. Our room had significant water damage and it had been painted over. The paint was peeling from the walls and you can smell the damp mould smell. I suffer from allergies and they flared right up staying here. Probably wouldn’t stay there again, only due to that.

A bit disappointi g. The breakfasy wasnt very good and the staff didnt seem particularly well frained. The location is good but the rooms are a bit small and noisy. A good spot but needs a bit of sorting out.

I will never recommend this place to stay. It’s terrible place not clean bed was stinky. Hallway was 2 feet wide not enough space to walk with your luggage. We booked family room and they didn’t have it they didn’t have it . Pls don’t rust there reviews for 0 star hotel. Never stay here

This hotel staff have little experience and poor training This is best exemplified by a phone call too my room at a minute past midnight to sign a document they failed to ask me sign the previous morning. Requests with room service ignored. No towel set in my room upon check in. While all petty annoyances, they are, when added together, symptoms of poor leadership. The food was ok. Room clean. Shower was strong but never warmer than tepid. Internet is awefull. It drops completely very regularly and at all hours of the day and night.

The staff deserved 10⭐️ they were always attentive and taking care of our needs. We stayed in a double bed room and the size was good. The pressure from the shower was very nice. There is a very popular restaurant next to the hotel.

Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, the hotel location was perfect walking distance to all attractions, restaurants and shops. I stayed in the deluxe room which was super spacious and room was clean and tidy everyday. Our bathroom looked a little tired and we had to wait for the hot water after each person showered for 15mins for the boiler which was a little pain after a long day, was informed our room was connected to a old boiler vs other room would not have this problem.
