Dino and team was very responsive and welcoming. Property was showing its age but everything works and with Grab rides only costing USD1-3 to most places, happy to be staying off District 1 to have some peace and quiet away from cars honking. The washing machine was a real plus given the hot weather in HCM - Dino and team replaced the original one that had broken handle on the same day we raise the issue (thanks!!). Air con is strong and great that basic toiletries (shampoo, body wash, hand wash) are provided and there is also kettle and cooking equipment if needed. There is also a pharmacy, convenience story, mini-mart at ground floor. Didn’t make it to the pool, which closes at 5pm and need to make prior arrangement though. And was told there is no gym.

The property features a beautiful view, a well-maintained room, and a prime location close to major attractions and downtown.

Extremely dirty environment — the entire building is filthy, and the room is even worse. The bedsheets had lots of hair from previous guests. The rating on Expedia is not objective or accurate at all.

Saigon 9 is a mix of holiday rentals along with permanent residents. There is no front desk, so all communication is directly with your room manager. We used Whatsapp for this. It's in district 4, away from the main part of town. But it does have a lot of little roadside eateries if you want to try local dishes. Those we tried were excellent, especially the Banh Mis. Pool & area was very nice, but a pity that the bbq's have been removed. Also pool hours could be longer. At the moment it's open 10am to 5pm. We were meant to get extra towels on 3rd day, which didn't happen. Also, after being asked to wait at our room for someone to take us to pool to be given towels, this didn't happen either until I messaged. They were waiting at pool for us, but without our towels. But that's all part of the crazy fun of travel. Our room was clean & comfy, with a balcony that overlooked a school, so that was nice. There were 4 small packs of toothpaste & t'brushes, large bottle of body wash & shampoo. But no tea, coffee, sugar or milk. Also kitchen was missing teatowels & cutting board. There was a washing machine on balcony, which we didn't use, but would be handy if needed. You need to have your own washing powder/liquid. There are several little shops like 7Eleven, cafes & kidzones right next door. We enjoyed our 3 night stay.

Great property in convenient location

These are great apartments a bit outside of the crazy hussle bustle of Ho Chi Minh. It was perfect for our family as it had a big space to have a break from the humidity during the day, and the pool was lovely too. It was walking distance to Ben Than market and a few other attractions. Staff were Gerry friendly and helpful. Very clean and had everything you needed. Only issue for me was it wasn’t near much for Vietnamese food but we just got taxis to where we wanted. Also, would have loved to have breakfast included.

A cozy and beautiful apartment nestled in a luxury building with beautiful views of Ho Chi Minh City. Near grocery and convenience stores and accessible to amazing restaurants. Friendly host catered to our every need. 10/10.

Excellent place for the foreigners. Its very near to the tourist attractions as well as to the famous restaurants and shooping malls. The house owner is so helpful in the check to checkout . I wish to visit the property again.
