Loved the close proximity to everything. Very smooth check in and out process. Room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The balcony was a nice extra, definitely added to the charm.

The property is located near the main attractions. It was clean and comfortable. It’s a virtual check-in so there’s no one to speak to in-person but they do respond to messages fairly quickly. They will allow you to leave your luggage in their “lobby” both before and after check in. The only negative was that although we were there for two nights, they didn’t service the room so we didn’t get more coffee or clean coffee mugs.

Location and our ground floor "A" room was excellent. The 2 bed room felt brand new as if we were the first people to use it. Everything very comfortable and perfect. Only issue was getting in. No reception staff, all remote. Could have been sent code to front door to get in sooner to leave bags and then room code once room ready. We had to rely on another guest to let us in.

The AC is on and off and the fridge is also on and off. The carpet outside is older so there are stains and is a little bit dirty. The kitchen is also under renovation so we werent able to use that. The hotel seems creepy for some reason, we hear random noises that our other friends dont hear.

Room smelled of old carpet. Toilette/ shower room very tight knees almost against door when sitting. Room code was not working. Though admin was right on it making the correction very fast and efficient. Beautiful location and although there is no building parking, that was not a problem as there is paid parking just down the street.

Location is the highlight of the property, close to everything. However, in addition to difficulty in finding parking, check-in process is not smooth considering I have stayed at a lot of properties without front desk all over the world. There is water leakage on the floor.

We have mixed feelings about this one. On the plus side, our room was clean and we had a little balcony that overlooked the street and you could see the St. Lawrence and the Chateau. Our room was updated. Walking distance to everything including lots of restaurants and stores. The river is also right there. Bed was comfortable and great pillows. On the downside. The kitchen area that had a fridge is a mess. Looks like half is being used as a workshop with tools and rags. Everything was coated in dust. The fridge works and we used it for food. The toilet and shower area are very tiny. The shower door could not open all the way as the toilet was right there. You had to squeeze into the shower which was actually lovely and new. The building is old and does need some work. Carpets are old and stained. The staff are excellent and responsive to anything you need. It is not great if you have a car. You have to park away from building. We paid $160 for three nights. We would stay again but without a car and less baggage as we were in a one month road trip.

Run the opposite way! After looking into two other rooms on the first floor while cleaning staff were working, I am convinced they give the most dated, disgusting, no air conditioning, mould filled rooms to customers who have booked on discount sites, such as Expedia. The other rooms we saw were absolutely lovely just as advertised. Ours was nothing like them in comparison. Absolutely disgusting, hot, mouldy, and just down right gross. Not to mention the fact that when I called the customer service to explain the lack of amenities, such as air conditioning in a heat wave, the woman was less than helpful and stated there will be no refund. My husband quickly took action, booked us in elsewhere and demanded a refund. The building is lovely from the outside, but beware, once you step inside, it’s a mouldy, stifling hot, stinky horror movie! Worst!

It was hot summer’s days and nights and the a/c wasn’t working well. It was slightly uncomfortable. We asked for maintenance but it only seemed slightly better. The radiators also seemed to emit heat (not sure if they are able to be turned off). Otherwise, the location was excellent.
