A very excellent hotel with excellent service. If you get a room that overlooks the bay the room is very large. For people who do not wish to eat at the restaurant which can be a little pricey there is a McDonald’s and a large selection of dining close by. The hotel is very near the cruise port for those taking a cruise. The hotel does not have a shuttle to the cruise port, but they arrange a taxi and the price is approximately six dollars. you could walk to the Chinatown area of Yokohama and approximately 3 to 5 minutes.

This was our third visit to the New Grand Hotel prior to a cruise. We love the history and ambience of the old part and the great harbour views from the tower part. The staff are very attentive and professional and the gardens out front are delight to stroll in. China town close by is a great contrast to visit especially all lit up at night.

It is very close to the pier, Chinatown, shopping, and a train station. My room is very comfortable and spacious.

We checked in after midnight for a one night stay (our flight had been delayed). I ask if it was possible to do a late check out ( one hour) from 11 am to 12. Yes but 3500yen for one hour. That's a bit steep. Otherwise lovely hotel. Illy coffee in room.

The hotel was perfect for our needs close to the port for our departure onto a cruise. The hotel staff were very helpful in check in, storing luggage and showing us the hotels amenities. The hotel itself is a little dated and is showing its age from the carpets to fixtures and fittings etc but everything worked in the room although I couldn't figure out the AC. The view of the port and downtown were excellent. I would stay here again even though the place needs updating its got a lot going for it.

時期的に新人のウエイターさんがいらしたのですが、
緊張のせいかコーヒーをこぼしてしまいまして 別にそのことは気にしないでと言いましたが、それお見ていた先輩のフォローがまるで無し コーヒー溢した床はそのまま

This is a beautifully maintained historic property that exudes elegance of another time. It is well-located by the waterfront across from Yamashita Park, near multiple shopping venues, and colorful Chinatown. The Keikyu limo bus to Haneda Airport stops right in front of the property.
The staff are very attentive. We would return again.
