Hotel built in a building dating from 1520 so it is not ultra luxurious. But it is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is in a smallish room and can seem very cramped when full. Ideally situated for the Alhambra and Albaycin neighborhood.

It was a historical renovation, tastefully done, each room slightly different from the next and a relaxing lobby. The building is tucked away, not on the street. The best part, however, was how helpful the staff were. They helped locate places we had booked, like flamenco dances up in the caves, gave us maps and directions for everything, stored our luggage, helped with boarding passes, and were just generally friendly and available.

Hotel na entrada do Albaicin, junto a Plaza de los Tristes. A localizacao é o principal ponto forte. Estrutura antiga, conserva bem o calor dentro. Quarto com pouco espaço para deixar malas (standard), há um pequeno mezanino com poltrona que é agradavel para ler ou tomar cha ou café. Cama ruim, colchão muito mole, inclusive fazendo uma curvatura para baixo no meio. Banheiro bom. Há chaleira com café e chá disponiveis e repostos diariamente. É possivel ouvir o barulho do encanamento (descarga e chuveiro) de outros apartamentos, o que é principalmente desconfortável pela manhã. Custo beneficio OK. Café da manhã 12 euros por pessoa, eles têm convenio com estacionamento e enviam as informacoes por e-mail (nao utilizamos).

Located just off a small, but busy street, and near a plaza. It appears to be an older building with charming character. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Shower is nice, but temp varies with how much others are using water. If the windows are open there is a lot of steet noise, but if closed it is generally quiet. Sometimes one can hear activity in the next room. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast has a very good selection, but items needing to be hot are not always so. Several good tapas places very close.

Get an upper floor rear building room with a view of the Alhambra; it’s worth the upcharge. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of food. Our refrigerator didn’t work even after the in-house service person thought he fixed it. Management replaced the refrigerator on our second day. One tip on the electrical system of the room: there are two wall switches by the door, one operates a ceiling light, one appeared to do nothing. Apparently that second switch is a master control for some, but not all wall outlets and lights. It would be nice if management explained that.
The hotel is located in a restricted access area. It can only be accessed on foot or by taxi. Streets are extremely narrow with little to no sidewalk width. The last half block is stairs.

I like this hotel, as it has a lot of character and has history. Breakfast is good. Room is worn with faded walllpaper, bed squeaked but had an antique style. In afternoon we took nap and noted lots of noise from outside ( flamenco place and club outside our window). I was able to close windows and shutters (old style) which kept the noise out overnight. AC was ok. Our room is above main lobby(picture with columns) accessed via steps. Other rooms in back have elevator. Again is this a hotels.com special as we were closet to nightclubs, intersection and had to walk up stairs. Hotel is in old section, main road along river gets very busy, we walked from Grand Via with bags about 10 minutes

Positive: Good location for shopping and dinning. Staff is nice.
Negative: bed sheet was not replaced, hair found in the bed. All the guests in our 3 rooms said they feel itch in the body when sleeping. The room has a smell of mold. It is impossible for us to drive to the hotel since the road is too narrow to pass. We have to drive our 2 cars to the parking lot suggested by the hotel and take taxi from the parking to the hotel. We called 1 big taxi for 10 euro and 1 small taxi for 5 euro. The hotel promised to reimburse the whole single ride but finally it just reimbursed 7 euro for the 2 taxi. I highly recommend not to stay in this hotel especially when you have a car!

とても古い施設ですが清潔に保たれている。不満はエアコンが効きにくいところと、ホテルのエントランスまで階段なので大きなトランクを運ぶのが大変だったこと。ホテルの中も何段か階段をトランクを持たなければならないこと。

It is a beautiful 16th century building. Everything was great. Breakfast facilities a little crowded, but understandable given limitations of room size. The only property that notified me about the parking and advised parking garage and paid for the taxi to hotel. That is good customer service.
