Hilton Garden Inn Saskatoon Downtown

When booking on Expedia, no mention of pool closed for maintenance. Could hear it on the 4th floor, drilling. And no mention of parking either. Said covered on their website. Not covered. The did make good with refunding the parking and gave us a free breakfast buffet. The buffet was not good, barely any eggs and what was left was dried out and rubbery. Sausages greasy and had a terrible taste. Waitress made sure to leave a $0 bill with a smiley face and wrote tip. Room clean and had everything we needed. When I addressed some issues with staff at first, very blahhhze. Fixed after on phone for 1 hour with expedia. They are renovating hotel. Just be forth coming with what you are offering.

Great location, room was nice, loved the bathroom amenities, service in the lounge was great, breakfast service was terrible.

We had a wonderful stay, the food was great. The room was very clean and it was quiet. This hotel is close to shopping and near the boutique’s. We will definitely stay here again.

Property under construction which means the loudest drilling sounds occurring starting at 9am through the rest of the day. Pool closed but not listed anywhere online. A room was requested far from the elevator; upon check in we were told that our room was changed. Now it was directly beside the elevator and the ice room (which had no door). The stay was extremely noisy between the construction, elevator, and ice machine. Parking is $15 a night in a questionable parking lot outside. Everyday I noticed more glass all over from smashed windows.

Clean Room

Good location but the pool and gym was closed. There was construction all around our room. Could hear everything as the soundproofing in the rooms isn’t good. You could hear when the contractor dropped a screw on the floor above us.

The experience was disappointing. I booked a suite for our 40th anniversary and expected a sitting area with fireplace, leather couch and armchair as depicted. My wife especially wanted a pool. There was no mention anywhere during booking or at checkin that the room was no longer as advertised and the pool had been out of commission for scheduled upgrades. There was no indication in the pricing details that there is an additional $16.75 per night for parking. The staff did remove the parking fee when I complained and the manager did give a 20% discount for the room but being as advertised, but I felt that was a bit light considering the cost of a suite and the difference. Additionally: part of the sitting area is converted to a kitchenette with microwave and dishwasher - but no detergent, dishes, glasses or cutlery. There's no mat or closet when you come in for outerwear, there's no towel hooks or rods in the bathroom, the exhaust vents don't work in bathroom or kitchen (the kitchen bent cover isn't even in place), only one lamp in the sitting area so it's too dark to read or play games in the evening, cleaning staff didn't show up until 4:30 each day, no coffee or water in the lobby but there was trash, dirty cups and an empty water dispenser. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The bedroom and bathroom were very nice. But this wasn't the experience I expected for a Hilton suite.

Amenities were under renovation. Did not know until I got to the hotel. Quiet in the halls, clean rooms, took forever to get warm water to shower, housekeeping did not refill coffee or towels, was not happy. Went to the bar to get food, limited menu due to renovations and the bar staff was not very present. Too busy visiting each other rather than helping the customers. They gave me free parking for the inconvenience of the warm water. Guess that’s a bonus. For the price I paid to stay there, I would have expected better.

Our front desk lady is always so helpful and friendly, I think her name is Lisa All staff were very nice made the 4 day trip good noise at night was handled immediately. Overall good stay!!! .

Nice clean room

Having the restaurant amenities available for full day hours would be nice. Tons of shopping in the area. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable.
