We had a great family trip staying at the Marriott Hotel in Bristol recently. Location: You couldn't ask for better! Being right in the centre of Bristol made it super easy to walk everywhere—all the sights, attractions, and places to eat were right on our doorstep. The Room: The rooms were fantastic—seriously big, spotlessly clean, and everything felt really well looked after. Hotel Amenities: The facilities were good, and the gym was a real highlight. It had a ton of modern cardio and weights gear, so keeping up with our workouts was no problem. The staff were also really helpful and friendly, which just added to the nice vibe. The buffet breakfast was a little small, though it did have one hot food station.

We didn’t have breakfast, so couldn’t comment. The staff is very nice, excellent service. The only thing was the air conditioning was quite noisy.

A very nice location, comfy bedding and air conditioning system, a nice bathroom and clean room, tidy and presentable through the hotel. The 2 pieces of criticism we have are that there weren't enough sign posts/maps available to navigate around the hotel - we were room 719 and struggled to navigate to this area when we went down the first stair case. Also, we parked on the furthest side of the car park and the only signs we saw were 'no access to hotel'. Maybe its worth having some signs that state the direction to the doors that access the hotel. The other part of criticism is about our room. The fridge didn't appear to work and the bulb in the desk lamp wasn't working. As we were only staying for one night we weren't overly concerned but it may be worth getting the staff to check all functions before guests stay in a room. Thank you.

Can’t fault anything really we had a great stay staff friendly hotel was lovely great location easy access to all the shops the harbour and the main attractions of Bristol. The food was lovely so much choice to have the bedroom was lovely. Plenty of teas and coffees. Nice that you had a thermostat to turn up the heating. Bathroom was lovely. You had toiletries so that was a nice to have the only downside was going into the bathroom bit of a trip hazard we thought because both me and my husband both tripped apart from that excellent hotel would definitely come back again and would recommend it to friends and family

Shame about the breakfast - confirmed I had a dog and restaurant confirmed I could eat there with the dog for breakfast. So I paid and they then tried to turn me away - after I’d just paid for 3 people! Otherwise, if you don’t have a dog, great place.

This is a lovely hotel, very well appointed with generally very helpful staff and lovely rooms and a magnificent building. The only issue we had was with the service at breakfast (no problems with service at dinner at all). We were left standing waiting to be seated for some time as the queue was not really visible to the main dining area and no-one was seemingly assigned to the desk. In addition the tea and coffee orders were very slow to come (this on more than one occasion) so much so we had virtually finished eating before they arrived. The food was very good. We would have rather had to serve ourselves tea and coffee than wait so long for the service. However, this was a minor point to us in our stay overall which we really enjoyed.
