Great hotel in the middle of Bristol near all the amenities , restaurants bars attractions . On site parking

The room I booked, Jr Suite, was not available so we were given a sub-standard room. The room had a tiny 2ft X 3ft window ar ceiling height. The AC was broken and the room remained at 26⁰C 82⁰F all night. Unbearable! No compensation was actually given, inspite of a promise to do so, for the change in room type. Minimal compensation was offered (Marriott points) for the lack of AC! While the location is great, I can't recommend this hotel based upon this performance!

Was going to a concert at the Bristol Beacon so the location was perfect. Can’t really say much about the facilities or staff, but the bed was comfortable and the shower was good.

Faulty window in our room (1364) meant it couldn’t be closed. Consequently the very loud club goers shouting at each other in the courtyard below our window might as well have been in the room with us. We had a terrible nights sleep. Not impressed.

Excellent location, very convenient to have plenty of parking on site, extremely clean and well maintained room and excellent breakfast with great choices available

The water in the sink won't drain so I removed the plug and I found that It was stuffed with tissue paper with something dirty

We had a large room with Kingsize bed, large bathroom and all the amenities we needed. Room and bathroom were clean, bed was very comfortable and we had a good resting sleep. The breakfast Buffet was offering classic English breakfast and a huge variety of cereals and vegetarian options. Staff was very kind and reacted to all our questions with kindness and expertise.

Lovely hotel, elegant clean room. There was an excellent choice at breakfast in a spacious room. A huge bonus was Emmylou Harris and her band having breakfast together. The check in , check out, breakfast staff were really helpful even though the hotel was really busy. On the negative side, the room was a really long way from the lift and an event was going on with lots of loud music kept us awake until after midnight . Perhaps if you put the people attending the event on the 2nd floor so they aren’t in the noisy room would be helpful. Otherwise a treat to stay at the Marriott as I’ve only been there for conferences before.

Request on Expedia form for early arrival was not communicated. Bathroom was not clean, loo unflushed. Wi fi was not given on arrival Phone contact to reception was not clear on the room phone When we dialled zero no one answered despite several attempts But A comfortable bed and sheets and handy phone charging Reception helpful

Not the best start when the fire alarm went off just after we'd arrived. Towels weren't changed until 4 pm. Long wait in restaurant. No sandwiches available on room service.

We travelled for a family long weekend. The staff were helpful, the hotel well located and it made a great base to explore the city

Brilliant historic hotel in the central of Bristol. Very friendly and efficient staff. Had a lovely one night stay.

Leider gab es einige Wermutstropfen: Wir hatten ein Kingsize-Bett gebucht und bekamen zwei Queen-Betten. Das Zimmer war zu warm, das Bad wirkte renovierungsbedürftig. Beim Frühstück störten uns die hohen Preise sowie ein separater Frühstücksraum für bestimmte Gäste – das hinterlässt ein ungutes Gefühl der Ungleichbehandlung.
