The view is amazing. The color of Caribbean Sea is dreamly blue. Room is clean & spacious。love the view of balcony. The view of water front restaurant is amazing. You can enjoy your meal while watching ppl snorkeling right in the water. Would love to stay again.

Me pareció uno de los mejores o el mejor hotel de toda la Riviera maya, lo que más me gustó fue el personal el equipo del restaurante gaviotas es el corazón del lugar el capitán Oscar, en la caja Vanesa Belén, los meseros Diana, especialmente Jorge Maggie Iron, Santiago, Xóchitl y en el bar Emir e Iván Hay muchos nombres y muchas personas en General. De verdad son maravillosos, las albercas limpias, los elevadores, las recámaras, los alimentos, todas sus instalaciones son impecables así como todas sus instalaciones, el gimnasio el gerente Carlos, muy amable Excelente Persona!!!, la verdad es que es el mejor hotel de toda la Riviera maya

Nuestra estancia fue placentera, el restaurante Gaviota para cena estuvo espectacular y los meseros que atienden por la tarde tienen excelente actitud y el nuevo chef le aplaudimos ya que sin duda la comida fue muy buena. El único punto a considerar es el servicio de limpieza en las habitaciones, creo que tiene varias áreas de oportunidad

Good value for the money. Good breakfast but overall I recommend going to the restaurants in town over the hotel food. Bring your own snorkel gear to snorkel all day off the hotel beach and pier (hotel only provides gear for an hour for free).

Our stay at the Westin Cozumel had some high points. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch; every staff member we encountered was friendly and eager to help. Unfortunately, the hotel infrastructure is letting the staff down. The property is very dated and visibly suffering from a lack of maintenance. We actually had to change rooms after checking in because our first room was in unacceptable condition. Beyond the rooms, the hotel shows signs of neglect, including broken items in common areas and visible mold. It feels like the property isn’t being cared for the way it should be. We left happy because of the warm hospitality, but management seriously needs to invest in updating and fixing this facility.

La gente muy amable, pero en la habitación no había toalla tapete para salí de regadera, no había wash clothes, ni chanclas ni bolsa de lavandería, limpian el pasillo con agua y jabón sin poner un aviso de piso húmedo

Returned a week ago from the Westin and although the hotel is one of my favorite with the snorkeling off the beach and a wonderful place to relax we noticed the quality of the food has gone downhill over the years. There were a few nights that only a handful of people ate at the restaurants on the property which even for off season was noticeable. The shower in our room flooded terribly and it took until the 3rd day to be moved. The cleaning staff the waiters and bartenders are great and work hard to take care of you. Drinks are of decent quality but like some food you have to pay for top shelf liquor. For the price it’s definitely worth it but if not kept on top of things I fear the ratings are going to continue to decline and really hate to see that. This place had the highest ratings the first few years it was open.
