Excellent location, excellent rooms, excellent service. Room charges are very high though.

My second time at Swissôtel Makkah and as amazing as the first time. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Warmly welcomed by the front desk agent, they made the check-in process smooth and quick. We requested 2 rooms to be on the same floor, very accomodating and helpful. Incredibly responsive and answered all my questions. Housekeeping was given and checked up on us daily, changing towels, cleaning and giving us extra amentities. There was a breakfast buffet which offered a variety of dishes, bakery items and drinks. Fresh, tasty and very enjoyable for the family. A short walk to Al Haram, accessible to the clock tower and its shops. I highly recommend Swissôtel Makkah to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and exceptional hospitality. God willing, I return soon for my third visit.

Excellent service

Alhamdullilah I have been to other hotels in the Clock tower but it was the first time staying at the Swiss Makka. We booked for 4 people and only got three beds, other hotels often have a extra bed when you register four people. But they wanted us to pay 200real per night for a extra bed when we booked for four person. The staff was supposed to call me when the room was ready (we came earlier) but did not call, I needed to go myself and ask. The room was stinking of smoke, and the reception wanted to send security for some reason, then the cleaning staff (we just waited for them to clean the room) in the end the agreed to change room, no room was avaliable and they would call when it is ready! But again they did not call again. I came with my family and kids and my parents, we requested to stay on the same level, and that work for the first room. After the smoke filled room they told me thwy will send me 1 floor above. Again its okey, but they moved us 17 floor away from my parents. Cleaning staff is good and nice and other staff as well. But the ones in the reception did not listen or try to collaborate with me. The good thing was that this hotel can be accessed from the ground floor, easier to get up and down to the hotel/room.

All in one the best place to be. I know there is more people then everywhere in the world but about room cleaning i have to say that can be more better . That can make the Hotel image more better. Please work in this side. Room cleaning under the bed. Best Regards AV

This was my first stay at this hotel. I had reserved a room with a direct view of the Kaaba. The room itself was spacious, very clean, and beautifully maintained. The view was truly breathtaking. However, there were several major drawbacks during my stay. The elevators were extremely overcrowded and insufficient for the number of guests. I often had to wait at least 30 minutes each time I needed to go up or down, especially during prayer times. Additionally, the hotel’s mosque was located very far from the rooms, requiring a long and tiring walk. The lobby was constantly overcrowded because the hotel has a direct entrance to the Haram, attracting many people who were not guests at the hotel, making it chaotic at all times. One serious issue was the hygiene at the restaurant. Although the food quality was good, the cleanliness was unacceptable. When ordering tea, they bring a teapot along with a large cup of warm milk. Often, milk is left over. Shockingly, I witnessed the staff collecting leftover milk from guests’ cups into a separate container to reuse it for other guests. I personally saw this happen, and it was extremely unhygienic and disturbing. Because of these reasons, despite the beautiful view and room quality, I will not consider staying at this hotel again

Room looked clean but as soon as we walked in it smelt like cigarettes, open the cupboard smelt of fish...spoke to management, he came with air freshner which snelt nice for 1 min, then back to have it was...bathroom was really small

Using the lifts was a bit inconvenient.

I had specifically booked this trip for my parents as they were going on a holy journey ….yet they were given an accessible room when I had not booked that…there was no partition in the shower area and the entire bathroom was a slipping hazard. This was extremely disappointing given the amount I was charged. Absolutely unacceptable from a brand like swissotel

Hotel is located right across from the Haram. Very very convenient for everything. Extremely good customer service. But selection for buffet breakfast should be better.
