All was great

Overall was excellent except the pillows are so soft it’s not even a pillow after 1-2 minutes. I got back sore from the first night onwards due to pillows and the mattress being so soft it’s like I’m sinking.

Excellent resort in the CBD. Staff were amazing.

Great location

The meeting points for activities like Great Barrier Reef and Rainforest SkyCable are a 3 minute walk from the lobby Food at the hotel is excellent, especially the curry. Other restaurants like Dundee’s are a 2 minute walk

The hotel was lovely and convenient for restaurants and tourist attractions. We did find it strange that the hotel bar closed at 9pm even when it was busy.

Staff was excellent. I only gave 4 starts on the property condition only because being in a rain forest there were some unavoidable moisture issues with the outdoor corridors but the rooms and main lobby were nice. I would stay again.

Tub must be changed to allow for full closure, rather than the tiny piece of glass provided. And how does a hotel in the wet tropics not provide for a drying rack or other means to hang one's clothes that get soaked in the torrential downpours. (And not that there can be anything to do about it at this point, but I was not a big fan of the corridors that are open to the weather, which of course get wet with every rain storm. That's something I would expect to find at a cheap motel, not in a five star Hilton.) I did like that the hotel was located close to some of our activities.

The Hilton at Cairns has a great location, all the amenities and friendly professional staff. However, the building is a bit tired and we experienced a few issues with the AC being loud and the toilet seat was broken when we arrived. Having said that the staff worked very hard and appeared to be run off their feet at times. Which caused them to miss a few things including our dinner order and towels in our room.

Enjoyable uncomplicated stay. Breakfast offering was very second tier

Conviniet location, walkable distance to shops and restaurants. A bit old and outdated, need some maintenance and touch ups. Pool needs more shadow area, as it was not enough spaces to hide from the sun. Breakfast was good, lots of options. Friendly staff

Lovely one night stay at this property. Our exec King room was spotless and comfortable. The lounge was a delight. Tasty hors de ovres and a nice selection of drinks. Staff was very attentive and accommodated our late checkout request

Great place to stay! Facilities are marvelous! Dinings are wonderful both breakfast and lunches! Staff are very friendly!

Some of the staff were very rude… Yoko was real nice.
