매우 편안한 여행이었습니다. 하지만 호텔이 아니라서 침대시트도 교환 안해주고 목욕수건도 로비에서 요구해야만 주며 청소도 당연히 안해줍니다. 화장실 휴지도 달라해야 합니다. 빨래가 가능하고 요리도 가능한 점은 좋았습니다.

Views - great Reception staff - great The room cleanliness - very poor

The room was dirty…!! I mean filthy, as soon as you walk in there was a bad stale, damp smell, the mattresses had no protectors and were badly stained with urine and god knows what else, oven and fridge were dangerously dirty with mould, towels were dirty and stained, the sofa was filthy and stained, and when it rained, the ensuite bathroom leaked and water came in through a non opening window. My Expedia VIP status was not recognised, we were not given a bottle of wine, in fact we were likely punished for using Expedia. The manager was non existent, one guy literally quit his job on Xmas Eve because he was unsupported and was getting so many complaints.

Great apartment generally speaking and location was okay. Checked in at 4pm and room not ready. Parking a bit of a pain. No dining options. Room not cleaned properly after previous guests with washer and used soaps left in the shower. Linen clean and tidy Mould in the washing machine Both TVs not working, with one looked like it had been punched in. Real shame it was a lovely place just reception terrible and room not clean. I think we left it cleaner then when we got there.

The bedrooms, toilets/showers and the lounge were very clean. The oven and the gas stove were dirty and the pots and pans were dirty. The Ruby apartments were in a great position and the view was stunning.

We enjoyed our stay at Ruby, loved how close it was to catching the bus or trams. Wasn’t far of a walk to surfers paradise or the beach. The pool was nice but which there was a hot tub especially would’ve been nice having that at night. The room we had was nice but could’ve been cleaner when on arrival. We had house keeping twice and on the second time a pair of shorts went missing so declined having house keeping again as that made us uncomfortable. The apartment wasn’t too big and hadn’t worn those shorts yet so knew they were in the apartment before we left for the day and then after when we came back mysteriously weren’t there after house keeping had been done. Told found desk about it but nothing was really done other then an “sorry were not sure” Other than that it was a nice stay.

Friendly courteous staff, fast & excellent service! All amenities are very handy as is free parking! Rooms are fully equipped and spacious…

Would have given 5 stars but the aircon was noisy and it wasn’t 100% clean.

Great location, amazing views and lovely spacious apartment

The ocean view was good.

The decor was lovely as was the view and location. However the apartment needs a proper clean. The mould in the showers was offputting as were the black scuff marks and dings on the walls, mould in the washing machine, dirty sliding balcony doors and dust in various places. The metal gas hobs were grubby too (however would come up nicely with a soak, some Bar Keeper's Friend and a scrub with some steel wool). We did enjoy our stay despite this and feel like a deep clean and some touchups with some paint would make a world of difference.

Great place, quick check in. Great views of the ocean and seaside from our rooms!

Wonderful stay in a lovely spacious & clean apartment which had great views & was walking distance to where we wanted to visit.

Comfortable quiet

Booked a one bed apartment with a queen bed, but was checked in to a room with two tiny single beds; the slimmest beds I've ever seen. When I went to Reception to ask about getting put into the correct room, I was asked to spend the first night of a 2 night stay in the single room as no other room was clean! I showed a photo of the 2 single beds and advised that there is no way that I could fit in one of those beds,and was then told I was being 'upgraded' to the room I booked in the first place! Not a great first impression of this property.

Interesting view of Surfers from the balcony. It is a great place to dry washing on the provided racks. The rooms were certainly clean. The single beds were incredibly narrow. There three lifts worked well and the delay for a lift was minimal. The area is safe and easily walkable to Surfers Paradise mall and the beach. The car park is safe but drivers needs to exit their vehicles to tap their fob on the gate button. There is apparently a cafe but no staff mentioned it or recommended it. Guess nothing happens there. The three large mental dustbins on wheels at the hotel entrance rather spoil the ambience. The smell was bad the day we left. Bring your muscles to open apartment doors - very heavy. Overall our 5 night stay was pleasant and convenient -= especially the well equiped apartment kitchen. Definitely worth a visit and we would consider Ruby for staying there again. One small point. While the Reception staff were polite and helpful, english was obviously a second language and there were some minor communication misunderstandings.
