호텔 셰즈 스완

2019년 10월 초에 본 호텔에서 3박4일 머물렀는데, 전반적으로 만족스러웠습니다. 장점으로는 1) 호텔 위치가 적당한 번화가에 있고, (공항)버스와 지하철 등 대중교통 이용에 편리합니다. 가까운 곳에 유명한 파니니가게도 있고, 카페나 음식점 등도 많습니다. 2) 호텔직원들이 친절하였습니다. 안내데스크 직원이 체크인부터 체크아웃까지 세심하게 배려해 주셨고, 방 청소해주시는 분과 조식을 준비해주시는 분도 상냥하셨습니다. 3) 시설 측면에서 방과 화장실이 넓고, 청결도가 우수하였습니다. 샤워기가 4단으로 되어 있었고, 제일 위에는 최신식 레인폴 샤워기였습니다. 방 조명기기도 예뻤고, 무료로 제공되는 캡슐커피/코코아/홍차/녹차도 맛있었습니다. 아쉬운 점도 있었습니다. 1) 조식이 부실한 편입니다. 빵(패스츄리 3종류, 바게뜨)과 버터/과일잼, 요거트 1종류, 음료(쥬스류 2-3종류, 우유, 커피), 과일 2-3종류 등이 있었습니다. 패스츄리가 맛있었고 간단히 식사하기에는 부족하지 않았지만, 음식 종류가 다양하지는 않았습니다. 2) 소음 문제가 조금 있었습니다. 윗방과 옆방에 계시는 분이 걸어다니는 소리가 비교적 크게 들렸고, 주말에는 건물뒤편(입구에서 먼쪽)에서 젊은 사람들이 새벽까지 소란스럽게 굴어서 시끄러웠습니다.

Trying to drop off my luggage for Checkin the two spots were taken. As they were by the same two cars in the 15 minute only space. The front desk admitted to me days later these were staff members using them for their shift! Problems with amenities not working in the room? Same neglect! Giving you more than half a roll of toilet paper for a multi day stay? Same neglect! Room cleaning? Same neglect! The manager was asked three times to contact me. Either staff just doesn’t relay these messages, or she is the one who doesn’t care! But I was never contacted, because I would have preferred to have given her an opportunity before posting a negative review.

We stayed at this property a few years ago and were impressed. This time not as much ( early April). The new owner clearly is not as focused on keeping propery up. The breakfast is no longer provided by the restaurant and they are clearly cutting corners on costs. The weekend staff Easter weekend were laughable. From sitting in view of patrons with feet on desk. To lying on front desk watching movies on their phone. That being said the location of this place is excellent. The rooms are spacious and have a lot of character. Just needs a bit of up keep and some staff coaching.

I absolutely loved the room that I stayed in. Very unique and wonderful. The staff are excellent and the breakfast was great. I would totally stay here again

Room not clean in the corners. Lots of dust. Bad odour throughout. Smelled like a litter box. Very loud music playing early morning and late from business underneath/near by. Otherwise, decent option for price.

Nice boutique hotel

Nice hotel. The lobby was maybe a little too fragrant for me. If you are sensitive to smells this may not be the best choice for you.

Overall, an enjoyable stay, with interesting room features and furniture. I would be happy to stay again, but would plan to bring earplugs. Sound isolation is not this hotel's strong suit, with creaky wooden floors and music from the restaurant underneath heard clearly until 11pm. We could even hear the person in the next room over walking across their room once the music from downstairs died down! The continental breakfast is simple but sufficient. The bed was comfortable. The hotel does lovely things with wood carvings, stumps, natural edge tables, etc. Fast internet.

Room was clean and nice. No refill of the soap dispenser in the shower and no water pressure. You can ear everything that is happening in the streets and in the room next door.

Boutique hotel with character in the downtown core of Montreal. I’d stay there again.

L’emplacement est très bien, mais l’état des chambres semble s’être dégradé depuis 3 ans selon les séjours que j’y ai faits.

No pressure in shower and room needs a little bit of love

Fantastic stay staff was excellent

Room smelled like swear gas and covered up by plug in scented air deodorizer. Staff did not apologize for smell and we were. It moved.

The room had a very bad sewer gas smell from bathroom when we entered the room it was pungent and hotel attempted to mask the smell with two plug in air fresheners. Hotel was full so could not switch rooms. Really dissapointed and staff didn't even apologize for the condition of the room

The breakfast options were a bit limited, since it lacked protein

Check in delayed by 45 min. Lobby incense smell was head ache inducing.
